On this video I show how to test the entire ac system for leaks! Specially when is a small leak, those are the hardest to find!!

Nice diagnosis Maic. At first, I didn't think you were going to find anything since it charged up so well. Thanks!

Nice one Maic. Great approach to leak finding. I often use the lower vents around drivers feet area with blower on lowest setting and sniffer up the vent.

My local mechanic doesn't use a sniffer because he said it is so sensitive it gives him false readings. I guess like any tool, there are times it works good and other times maybe not so good. Regardless, you did a good job taking care of this one.

Hey Maic.Nice video as always.I hope you make the repair one too .One of your special 2 hours videos on how to remove the dash and change the evaporator.I love these videos :) .Question - Is it possible to find a leak THAT SMALL(like the one in the video) by using dye , because Sniffer is big investment for diy guy. Cheers.

Cool video. Honestly i had given up on those beep type detectors but you showed an example of it actually working. Do you normally have good luck with this tool? I’m thinking to buy it now lol. (I had a snap on one from years ago that i don’t trust)

Isn't the evaporator in the dash in the passenger compartment. You seemed to be on the underside of the vehicle no where near the evaporator?

My z4 had the ac compressor on the driver side and it never stop spinning ,pressure running 70 low high side 100. It said part was a csv613. Da and on scanner was on and switches were working on the scanner

Does the whole dash have to be removed to gain access / change the evaporator? =(

Question: Rear brakes on 2011 MB C300 (sports sedan) do not engage after brake pads and disk change. Any thoughts on this. Could use some help here.

Low side should not be higher than 33 lbs and 129 on the high side WTF!?!?
