More 3rd gen content please!

I really like the product, however a couple tips that were left out of the video. Lower the spare tire out of the way before beginning. Also, the existing pipe that connects to the Y pipe has a pin at the top on 2004 Ram 1500. To make the old exhaust easier to remove, I used a power cutter to cut the pipe about 6 inches from the Y pipe, then I was able to more easily bend the remaining piece of pipe off the pin. I then cut the pin off the Y pipe to easily slide on the new pipe. I also had to spend some time fitting the pipes at the back of the truck to all room for my 20 inch spare tire to fit back into place. Other than that, the installation pretty easy.

Have to heat shield brake line, remove spare tire, but sounds amazing and is worth it

What is the suspension setup and tire setup on the truck used in the video

Could be an easy install but. The factory was welded where I supposed to just slide off. Really small space to get to the weld too but after about 5-6 hours it’s on and sound good. The clamps are snug fit so it’s hard to work with that too.

Can anyone tell me the stock exhaust size on a 2008 dodge ram

Mine was welded on and i had to chisel it out in 3 pieces.

why is everyone (it seems) going cat back? im researching exhaust systems for my 03 ram 1500. I would like to go with some headers, and true dual exhaust with two glass packs and two mufflers. true dual. why is it hard to find videos on that? is keeping the cat giving me HP or does it make it better on gas? what's the deal can someone give me the scoop thanks

If all you want is a new muffler, tail pipe, and some extra noise - a cat-back system is perfect for you. Especially since they're easier to install yourself or cheaper for a shop to install for you. Plus if you need to keep your catalytic conveters for emissions purposes, 99% of all cat-back exhausts sold do not touch factory cats. Going for a true-dual setup with headers all the way back to exhaust tips would definitely give you more power if done right with a tune, especially when removing your cats or going with a higher flowing option. -Zach
