    I bought 02 sentra se r as my 2nd car. I wasnt a car person before, I just bought the cheapest car I could find with good km. And MAN I love it, it's gotten me into a new passion of working on vehicles. Parts are cheap, easy to find, and runs like a dream if you keep up with it. 1 year going strong:)

    Great to see the support of the B15...Ive had my '02 since new...and was heavily modified, NA, from '02 to '10. Last 11 years I've only driven it 3...I know, but when you have a AE86, V70 T5, and a 300E, I have to divide up the time between all. I just enjoy the new found interest from all these videos.

    They also gave it a dual throttle intake to reduce the distance the fuel has to travel that opens around 3k rpm, lowered the suspension(about an inch), gave it polyurethane bushings, helical limited slip differential, 17 inch rims, a skyline style front bumper and custom interior THEN they put the badge on it. The ser and the ser spec-v are 2 different trim levels. I have the 02 spec-v. Bought it with 123k, used it for delivery driving for 2 years and put 70k miles on it. I've replaced the suspension (regular sentra 2.0 quick struts bolt right up and offer a soft ride!) I intend to use the original springs and buy a set of koni struts when I can afford it. I've replaced the exhaust (again nothing special, cat back to a thrush muffler) radiator, front wheel bearing, brake calipers and recently the charcoal canister and evap purge valve. Pretty basic regular maintenance if you ask me!

    Very nice vid. I have the b14 200sx se I bought from my dad's friend for $700. it runs and drives smooth but I do know I need tires and probably new gaskets. it ain't pretty since the paint is faded due to Arizona weather but I love the car to death. plus it has amazing gas milage due to the 1.6l engine. I saw the b15s and were interested it them but I already had this car so I'm doing fine. plus the next money pit I have is the ae86 shell with no engine my dad is giving me. Great review once again.

    I have a 2005 Spec V and I love the little bugger. It's quick and fun to drive. It's got aftermarket (pre-cat delete) headers, and I had to put a spacer on the downstream 02 sensor to shut the engine light off...but otherwise it's a great car. Everything you'd want in a small car and nothing you don't need.

    I bought that exact car (color and all) back in 2002. It was awesome but insurance costs, according to multiple insurance agencies were the same as a corvette. I wound up paying $6000 every six months for full coverage. Now to be fair, I did have two 80mph in a 55mph speeding tickets, and was only 19-20yrs old at the time. It was an awesomely fun car to drive and very easy as far as other manuals I’ve had. I definitely listened to a lot of Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit in that car.

  • @HatersGarage

    @HatersGarage

    Yeah these cars aren't remotely dangerous, but insurance companies see anything slightly sporty and the prices go way up. I'm in the same boat with this car that you were in 20 years ago. (minus the Limp Bizkit, lol) Of course my insurance isn't $6000, that's insane.
