This A6 sounds pretty nice, it would be really nice if you could insert a clip of the car passing full throttle in a tunnel. And i hope you made it to fix that electrics... looks painful, just like the car key^^. Great work, keep going!

how long do these multitronic gearbox's last for if you change the oil regularly? I recently acquired a 2002 a4 1.8t with multitronic. Almost full service history but was well overdue when I bought it. Sparkplugs falling apart literally, throttle body gears worn down, airbox in backwards and caked in dirt, watered down coolant, wrong oil filter and black sooty oil. Did full service on it drives beautifully with 257,000km on it. Gearbox oil was done at 202,000km I think, so it's overdue, have it booked in to get done. Has one annoying issue, coolant level warning light comes on occasionally even when coolant is full and recently bled the system (from the wheap hole on the heater core and by lifting the expansion tank up).

Is this 2.4 petrol engine good one? I don't know anything about Audi's engines. The gearbox should be pretty good I guess, i've been in Audi A4 B7 (one 2.0 tdi & one 3.0 tdi) and the gearbox was superb and I guess it's the same in B6? But I want to know if this engine is good overall or.. because some cars got engines that causes more problems then others etc.

Is the gearbox of good quality?

Du gehst mit der Multitronic falsch um. Du musst langsam gleichmäßig gas geben und bevor du losfährst kurz Rollen lass wenn du die bremse loslässt. Bis 50 bleibt der Motor bei konstant 1100 umdrehungen beim beschleunigen. Und der mag keine Kickdowns sonst reißt dir die Laschenkette im Getriebe und das ist teurer als so manch Wandler oder doppelkuppler.

sometimes the automatics are nice, sit back and relax, so smooth. also, the cvt's are more efficient (fuel economy) than torque converter auto's or stick shift and kick in really nicely on the highway. 100-140 (kmph) is like nothing.

Hahaha , it stays in low rpm and shift gears really smoothly. I thought the same thing when j brought my 2011 a4 . When you put your foot down you see the revs go up

Why don't you write the full modelname in the title? It is an multitronic version = completely irellevant..
