    One of the best caddy’s ever made...I still have mine at 286k miles and have abused the snot out of it and still just as strong as day one...the pearl white paint still pops like new...

    Great video thanks and I would add that you could 3/4 fill the new oil filter just before attatching it so that there is some fresh oil for the engine to grab on the first start-up.

    Quick and easy tutorial that teaches you a to B first time changing my oil on my Escalade did it exactly like video resets exactly like video!!! 👍👍up

    Anthony Trujillo no, it's just a drain and refill, its pretty easy, make sure to use the bottle that they supply and squeeze the fluid in there or pump it into the differential.

    you can buy it at any auto store. Make sure to get the exact type, the 3 prong oil filter tool is weak, this one has a stronger grip.

    oil filter is bosch 3423? autozone says it wont fit and recommends 3332. please advise

    do you need the tool to remove the oil filter? or can you just unscrew it with your hand?

    oil filter will be tight due to vacuum pressure. I would recommend getting the tool, it's the best tool out there.

    JOE FORD DIY yeah, its always my go to oil filter tool lol. Unless I have to use the plier type oil filter tool, that one is good too. I bought it at Harbor Freight for that one.

    No, the drain plug comes with a built in gasket seal.

    what happens if the oil level is above the 5th dot will that cause you low pressure oil light to come on??? I have a 2006 esv escalade

    Kimberly Duran if you have low oil level, it'll show low pressure.

    what do I do to check it... when I check the oil the dip stick oil is just over the 5th dot but it is cold do I need to let it warm up a little first ??? and then check it after it has cycled through?? thank you in advance for your help...

    You want to drain your oil and not over fill them. Make sure the oil level is below the 5th dot when warm up. Not cold. Once the oil is warm up, the oil expands.

    +Wyo Boy The jacking points for the front is on the frame rails, the rears are the rear spring hangers and/or the rear differential.

    You know you made more of a mess by using the rag to remove the oil filter. Why did you have the latex gloves on ???

    +JIM ECKENRODE yes I know, the oil was hot so I used a rag, the latex glove is so that I don't get oil on my hands. Personal preference, as long as you get the job done, that's all that matters. :)
