    Man i can't imagine how fast Pastrana would have been if he focused on a racing career, he was literally toying around with the pros until he crashed hard.

    God I love the sound of the 250cc 2 stroke, I wish they'd bring them back! Screw the tree huggers, 2 stroke dirtbikes are the backbone of Supercross, and the sound is irreplaceable! One of the best sounds in the world..

    The new TPI 2 strokes by KTM are actually cleaner than their 4 strokes. The step to go 4 stroke by the ama got nothing to do with tree hugging.

    My God, Travis riding like an absolute maniac. It seemed like 50/50 chance of making it every single jump. Sick!

    Very cool footage. Loved the fact that the announcers weren't totally cheerleading for Reedy even though it was on their turf. Their style of calling a race adds to the excitement for sure. This race epitomizes both Chad and Travis' careers. Travis is the fastest guy out there but is slightly impatient and a little wild. Reedy is impeccably composed and takes it to his rivals without apology. Got to love them both. I personally have tons of respect for both of them. Thank you for posting!

    Not saying he isn't something, but he could ha ve been one of the best RACERS ever is what im saying, felt like he really gave up the chance by doing all the stunts and risky stuff he has done over his career that have gotten him hurt and really degraded his ability to race. Not taking anything away from him, he changed the sport of freesytle in a way no other did, but he just could have been so much more in racing.

  • @FOURTEEFIVE

    cmv1810 Sorry bro but racing is so much more dangerous than freestyle, especially the way Pastrana races. Pushing 90 to 100 percent for 30 minutes is hard enough, you WILL make mistakes, whether those mistakes lead to a crash is up to luck. When Travis raced he pushed 110 percent all the time. Do the math.

  • @cmv1810

    @cmv1810

    9 жыл бұрын

    Excuse me buddy, ive raced for a damn long time, I know that you crash and make mistakes, as ive made plenty myself. What im saying is that the severity of the injuries obtained from freestyle crashes is usually more extreme due to the fact that you are always going to be crashing from very high in the air, whereas in racing a lot more of the crashes happen on or near the ground, and the jumps usually aren't as big as a freestyle ramp, making the chance of a more severe injury less as you will fall from less distance. Notice I am not saying less chance of an injury, but less chance of a more severe injury, which Travis's certainly have been.

    Okay i agree that the 450 4 stroke has just one or 2 more hp but they are heavy and if you think about it they have been working on the engine for years..a 250 2 stroke has the same engine it had since 2006 and puts out almost the same power and weights much less...4 strokes suck and their engine is almost twice as big in displacement
