Ended up needing the throttle body replaced due to sticking!

Thanks for the straight forward account of what to look at from your experience! I get tired of listening to people giving the history of their life, while just trying to get down to business!

I have the exact same issue with my 2001 CRV. I installed a new IAC valve and replaced the intake manifold gasket, as it was the OEM one. Still have the same issues. It idles high, and in park it revs 1500rpm to 2000rpm over and over again once the engine is warm.

Same issue and I have a 2000 Honda CR-V. Let me know if you find anything out to fix it
