I run the same setup and I think it needed tune up for the exhaust. My magna stucked too much to the left and I had to extend about 2" on the topside of the overaxle pipe that slides into the 3" pipe who is welded on the muffler. I was and am disapointed of the fitment. It is not a real direct fit catback... a shame, but it works now perfect and i swapped out the tips to 3.5" duals on each side. But the system itself is a dream to drive, no drone, not too loud :-)

have a magnaflow too along with LT's and ORY, sounds like a crown vic.

Nice sound man! Do you run ORY? I have to run catalytic converters... it's the law in my country... Is the pcm tuned to the cam or are you tuning yourself?

I thought about doing ORY but it is catted. Same laws here 😕. Car was dyno’d by a shop.

Whats the compression ratio?

Rear tires looks fairly wide. What’s the specs? And what time? Factory 10 spoke SS?

Replaced the factory 10 spokes with American racing daisy wheels. They are 17x11’s in the back with 315 tires. 17x9.5 up front. Had to remove the bump stops but they look pretty good IMO. Thanks!

Any drone? Sounds clean

Believe it or not, no drone. Tuned so it screams at WOT but is fairly “quiet” otherwise. No annoying drone.

The Idle seems very high

Yes, indeed it sounds like something about 800rpm. If its a T56, thats normal idle speed. Hope this cam is tuned properly, otherwise it can be tha same nightmare than I had with my firebird.

@@navybluethunder My LS1 is Cammed too with a T56 and the Idle speed is at 850, and sound way lower than yours 🤔

Sounds like a cold start to me. I would have liked to hear it warm up and settle into a lower idle.

It’s cammed, you can set idle higher than stock in HP Tuners lol

This is the standard magnaflow X-Flow muffler that comes in the 98-02 f-body LS1 Magnaflow Catback exhaust system. Have the same catback but with an other camshaft. Like that system because no drone or something like that

Why does it smoke so much

Cold start in New England in the winter. Probably shouldn’t rev so much before the engines warmed up.
