Buys stainless exhaust, gets welded with carbon 70s2 wire. Gets mufflers installed, too quite, so cuts holes in exhaust in front of mufflers. I’m scratching my head....

Dood the battery isn’t dying & it didn’t sit too long in your shop it sounds like the guy has an aftermarket cam but didn’t want to spend the money for a tune brah ☹️

The second Vette...the guy wanted more sound...simple take off the damn mufflers. Long tube headers and high flows cats with straights should sound damn good.

I have an LS6 with a cam and headers and no cats and 3.5” pipes is sounds absurd

Not a fair comparison. Flowmasters in the kit are force II A SOFTER muffler. If he would have put super 10 or outlaw flowmaster would have won.

Should of done the bypass mod instead of the cut outs.

Idk if this is why they put the cutouts but the benefit of not doing a muffler delete and just doing those cut outs on the magnaflow is less drone. If you look at a Borla ATAK for the hellcat it is literally a dual straight pipe but mufflers are attached on the side of the straight pipe - most of the exhaust exits straight out not entering through the muffler but some of the gases travel through the side into the muffler and this creates less drone.

On that Magnaflow car, you could've bought the Borla S-type exhaust for far less money and it's louder, wouldn't need the turndowns. Since the Magnaflow was already bought and you wanted it louder, the proper way to do it is to bridge the inlet and outlet pipes, bypassing the muffler. Some of the exhaust bypasses it but some goes through it, and all of the exhaust exits the tips, not under the car. Look up the Z06 stock exhaust mod, lots of guys do that to get more sound and power but retain the factory titanium exhaust.

Flowmaster would’ve sounded a little louder if it also had long tubes on it. Imo. I’m a flowmaster guy

The flowmaster on the 1st vette sounded soft to me, but the magnaflows sounded better, and I am a flowmaster fan....

SHO/N/OFF / the other one had long tube headers and holes in the Magna flow mufflers which is why it was way louder

How can you tell with the cutouts? He should have road tested it before/after the cutout mod.

Corsa extreme for corvettes there is no other option in my book

Shoulda just put fake cut outs on the stock muffler lol, is this a joke?

all the other gauges are set in metrics. definitely not a us spec

I’m normally a flowmaster guy however, that was the worst sounding exhaust possible. That poor guy spent all that money only to have his corvette sound stock. Totally wrong muffler for the application.

Sure not apples to apples !! One with cut outs one without.

Come on now, they all need more sound
