Lol that's true. I'll say though, it did come at the end of his career. And I wouldn't say True Grit was as worthy of an Academy Award as his earlier films. Of all the John Wayne films I never think of True Grit. The Coens redid it and it put a bit more light on it but of all Wayne's films I would forget he won an Academy Award for that also.

Love Buff. Listening to this makes me realize when people say wrestlers are all about “egos” and “politics”. I think most of them are that way simply because their protecting their side of the business. If you got a guy like Buff who was red hot at the end of WCW lose to Big Vito (who I enjoyed seeing in the ring) devalues Buff’s character thus hurting the business. Anyone following me?

WWE treated all the WCW like shit. 15 years later they still do. They bring Sting in and have him loose both matches he is in before hurting him so bad he could not wrestle anymore. As a southern wrestling fan I hate what has happened to pro wrestling. Even the WWE fans hate WWE now.

That power bomb turnbuckle spot with Rollins was so fkin stupid. I don't know why Sting would even agree to that. And look at the videos of Sting when he first came in and was with Hunter at S.S ..He was moving good. They had so much potienal with a Sting run. Especially possibly something with Taker. I agree with what Buff said, I think people got in Mcmahons ear and he got cold feet. And sabotaged the WCW angle. By having them wrestle in a anti WCW audience, and not having Booker T slap the fans hands like he always did, not having Buff do his entrance like he did in WCW and do his heel stuff. Then firing him 2 weeks later. Looking back it all kinda seems that way.

William T. Ratamacue I agree, he could have probably tried to do that. But I believe ego was in the way, I'd say both WWE and Buff. Buff was very talented and always entertaining. He got a bad shake in WWE and deserved way better. And if the reason why he was fired is because his match on Raw was so bad, why didn't Booker get fired too? It definitely seems like somebody in the WWE at the time had an agenda, and didn't want Bagwell there.

He actually was a good wrestler early in his career, during the early 90s. He lost his agility with steroid use. Then built his character more with the breakthrough of the attitude era in the late 90s. He would then rely more on his looks then his work in the ring.

Question, answer. Question, answer. Is this an interview or a quiz? If you have to tell guys “We’re gonna talk about that later” ten times, you’re not an interviewer. The job is about getting people to open up and uncover what’s lying behind dusty doors. That doesn’t happen if you keep yanking them back to the entrance so you can stick to your unimaginative question schedule.

@@daredevilofdallas i would build them. Not present them as the finished article and expose them when they weren't ready for it. I'd still present them on TV and give them in-ring and promo time, but not to the extent where they're walking out of limos and being presented like Ric Flair or Hulk Hogan when they were green as goose shit.

Look at his latest videos. His voice is so raspy it’s very hard to understand him. It’s like tommy Morrison the pro boxer who was good looking and spoke normal then got hooked on drugs and his voice turned very raspy like an old man. Unrecognizable in about 10 years but buff is not on meth or hardcore drugs to our knowledge he’s just on painkillers that don’t cause any of those effects unless he was smoking meth or crack then it would make sense but he sounds terrible and truffles to talk. One part u can tell he’s heavily medicated but still doesn’t explain the severe voice change. Sad to see him fat and out of shape. He was just called out to fight and he didn’t do anything after he said he would. I’m sure in shape prime buff would of fought the guy but he was even losing his balance just standing there. I feel bad for him. To have a body like that to just give up is awful. I broke my back and I’m in great shape. I never give up. I hope he gets better and back in the gym. Ur in less pain when ur body is stronger and it’s helped me very day.

That’s because Buff was still hoping he could get a job at wwf/wwe. By the time he was bashing Ross, Ross already bashed him and Buff knew going back to work at wwe wasn’t going to happen. So he didn’t care at that point. Notice he didn’t really say anything bad about anyone. He wasn’t trying to burn bridges. But today after he realized the bridge was already burnt, he said what he actually felt.
