For many the thought of cutting up a genuine 1988 VL SV88 to turn it into a 2000hp drag and burnout machine would be just a step too far. That's not how Tim Laidler sees it. The way Tim sees it, he saved the car. The shell was rotting in a field.
We all know too well this kind of find often isn't conducive of much. But what Tim has done with loads of fabrication work, extreme styling touches, and who could forget blood, sweat and tears, is testament to getting sh-t done.

I gotta be straight up an honest fellas, and I know my opinion wasn't asked, and this probably isn't totally called for. But, I don't like it... *I FKN LOVE IT!* Thats one WILD bit of kit, and from the vision to the execution of this absolute WEAPON has been flawless. Mad props to Tim and all the craftsmen who had their hand in creating such a masterpiece.

Always loved the VL Commodore since having one new. I would prefer to have a road driver, though.
