yeah waited all that time for an exhaust that sounds like ass. Flowmaster is cheap for a reason

Those 40 mufflers are so compact. Got them on my 1992 Foxbody. This TA sounds badass.

Flowchokers for that tin can sound! bOoMeR approved!

Thanks. Not sure on the set up, bought the car this way. Only had it for a year unfortunately, sold it last summer.

Look up video of an LS1 with Spintech exhaust. Best sounding aftermarket exhaust for an LS1, imo

Thats a flowmaster 80 for the stock modell pontiac exhaust system. The 40 is a single in and out muffler. Not one in and two out.

Tips came with the car so I'm not sure where the last owner got them. I can say they are Flowmaster tips.

Try Performance Products to get those tips in Powell Tennessee Callahan Road Terry and Connie Anderson are the owners. I had a 2000 and got rid of it and bought a 2002 and the guy had built it and it was badass but developed an electric short somewhere and now the motor has problems from sitting 🥺

Can you talk about the Diablo tune. What is it, and how did you get it in to your car. Was this done by a shop? Did it make a difference? Thanks.

The Diablo tuner is a power programmer you can buy online. You plug it in to your obd port and it reprograms the pcm. When I bought the car it was already installed. I have taken the time off and haven't really noticed a difference. However it gets pretty good mileage with the tune, 18/19 suburban driving. You can also adjust parameters of the tune with the programmer, but I have not messed with it.

No, just the top anchor in the hatch area. I had a car seat in there using the seat belt.

Are you sure that's a 40 series? The way it's set up it looks like an 80 series.

Actually I'm not sure, the previous owner told me it was a 40 series. I had a 40 series on my Tahoe and it sounded similar.

40 is pretty much an 80 just the flow path is different in the muffler

It was with exception of the Diablo tuner.

People hate on flowmasters but every vídeo ive watched the cars always sound real good.

That poor kid…..

Man I miss the F-Bodies. Now we got these overpriced overweight ugly ass cars with just numbers and no passion for the art of just design and driving. And beautiful trans am. My youth along with 2nd and 3rd gen. Maybe my kids will come to appreciate them one day LOL. Sorry about my mini book.😂
