Yes, Grandmaster Sexay (aka Brian Christopher, real name Christopher Lawler) was (see below) Jerry the King's IRL son. Jerry and Chris always denied it in kayfabe, though, since Jerry's on-air character was supposedly still in his early 40s--too young to believably have a son as old as Christopher was. On a sad note, Chris Lawler hanged himself in July of 2018, at the age of 46--one more name to add to the list of pro wrestlers who were still relatively young when they died.

Interesting fact about the finish to the Rumble: Both of The Rock’s feet actually touch the ground first when he eliminated Big Show. There was a camera on that side and it shows his feet on the ground while Show is still above the ground. They actually made a whole storyline about it with Show complaining that he should be the winner and it lead into Wrestlemania.

I suggest after reaching 30 rumbles and finale, make a series of mini rumbles! The winner, runner up, most time and most eliminations for both original and replayed. 8 people in the ring in one go. It would be nice to see!

Rikishi finisher is like greetings from Asbury park Bigelow's finisher

Kane also got eliminated by Booker T (who was eliminated) in the 2007 Rumble. Poor dude couldn't catch a break.

Steve Blackman Vs. Shane McMahon at SummerSlam for the WWF HaRdCoRe Title was a really fun match to watch! As a side note, D'Lo Brown was one of my faves, his swagger and his matches with X-Pac for the European Title were classics.

I agree man. I've always been amazed at their ability to keep hold of those ropes. One slip of a finger could mess up a whole rumble and possibly future PPV main events.

As always another great rumble, I agree, Al snow was definitely under utilized. Also, I never seen the brass nuts from the rock or any other wrestler in any of your rumbles. The rock had a cheat to win.😂😂😂

Jericho is NOT Canadian, at least not originally, as he was born in Manhasset, NY. I mean he lived there I'm sure. And I believe that move by Rikishi is the Rikishi Driver (could be wrong). Many wrestlers have been eliminated by an already eliminated entrant, or someone who wasn't even in the match, so it's legal. Anything goes in a Rumble!

As an aside, I would have loved to have seen Albert (#22 in the 2000 Rumble) form a tag team with Steve Blackman (#7). IMHO Albert's power and brute strength and Blackman's speed and agility would have complemented one another. The name of the tag team: A&B, Assault and Battery ("A" for both Albert and Assault; "B" for both Blackman and Battery, and Blackman sure could batter opponents with his kendo stick).

The Big Show won the 2000 Royal Rumble Match. Remember he got the tape to prove that Rocky’s feet touched first. HHH then granted Big Show a match at the pay per view before WrestleMania for the number one contender’s spot to go to WrestleMania to face HHH for the WWE Championship. Watch the Raw episode where Show showed the tape of Rock’s feet touching first.

That would’ve been cool to see Too Cool eliminate everybody in this replay and then dance before fighting each other and trying to eliminate each other. It’s times like these I wish the default re enactments would come into play like they do in Story Mode and Rise Mode.

In the beginning Ricky there were a lot of things that Vince Experimented with to make The Royal Rumble more exciting. In the 80’s if someone gotten eliminated and eliminated someone else that wrestler would still be in the Rumble. So now years later The Royal Rumble being what it is and in The Attitude Era if a wrestler who gets eliminated in The Rumble and comes back in to eliminate another participant in The Rumble that person is eliminated from the Rumble and it’s not really legal just throwing away the rules and let anything goes in the Rumble Match.

THAT MOVE IS CALLED THE RIKISHI DRIVER RICKY

RIkishi's piledriver is called The Fire Thunder Driver or Rikishi Driver or Greetings From Asbury Park

Did you see DenkOps 2k24 royal rumble video? There was a moment where Sami and Cody were the only 2 in the ring and instead of fighting each other, they waited for next entrant to come! Hoping that means tag teams and superstar alliances will work together in rumbles now

you know it would be great to see the winner of these rumbles doing a singles match against the champion at Wrestlemania that year. Dick Murdoch vs. Diesel. Think of the possibilities!

With Chyna being in the rumble I want to shout out to some female wrestlers. Chyna, Trish, Lita, Victoria, Mickey James, Ivory, Gail Kim, and the four horsewomen for all each taking womens wrestling to the next levels. Props also to Rhea, Raquel, Piper and Bayzler (both underrated) and the other current women for continuing the trend.
