Was at their shop last week on my way through Nashville to Knoxville. Both are very nice guys and southern gentlemen. Also met the fellow that works for them. Was looking for a pair of their men's flip flop sandals. Still not quite available as yet.

This type of craftsmanship is what makes the world a better place! People need to relearn that you should buy three pairs of lifetime shoes and take proper care of them instead of just buying disposables every other year.

I own a few pairs of Meermin shoes...They are always a tough break in, but good value for the money. I like that they have veg-tan insoles, which are really comfortable after break-in. Finishing isn't always perfect. So I am happy to see that these weren't terrible when you broke them down.

Great job! The sad part is that very few people would notice the difference. Now I know what to look for. Kind of like how I look at craftsmanship in a house when I go into it. You can tell when someone knew what they were doing and put the effort into making something beautiful. Thanks.

I really enjoy your videos, but I was surprised that $2000 shoes actually existed. I would ask, why, but I realize conspicuous consumption is a real thing. I'm an engineer though, and value function over cost. Thanks for the video, I love the craftsmanship you bring to your work.

Saving up the cash to get three pairs of my dress shoes sent down for some refurbishing. After watching this video I want them done even more. Really enjoyed this project a lot. It's nice to see what can be done with a good quality shoe. Those turned out very nice, giving them that spaded sole look, the build up of the sheet cork to fashion that fiddle back waist. Nice/tight tpi stitching (sore hands at day's end), and hidden at the bottom. Loved seeing the Lulu tip going back on, nice two-tone dye on the soles and extra use of the decorative wheels. The appearance of a slight lift to the heel and angled just a bit, loved it. The question, how much to make a $200 shoe look like a $2000 shoe? Nice work there fellers.

Upgraded to whole new level of shoes, something I can only imagine to buy 👌👍

You guys have inspired me to do a mild restoration on the uppers of my 18 year old Redwing boots. The resole is in fine shape, now the proper TLC

Well you guys really are a tuning shop for shoes.

I remember my days in the Army of spit shining our boots(heel & toes) lol 😂. It’s does take time for that shine to happen. Even sometimes you get one boot to take a shine easy and the other boot will take forever 🙄🤦‍♂️ lol. Great videos guys. Love watching them! 👍🏻

I remember Trent doing a couple videos on how, what kind, ( not Kiwi! ) to properly use waxes. You always stress the importance of conditioning the upper, color if necessary and finally using a quality protective coating.

The communication cut out, happened 20 years ago. Both with my loved one and my best friend. Till this day I know not why I deserved it. This reading flooded this grief again , and I just can not stop the sobbing.

I've watched all the Siroeno Yosui vids and it's pretty cool seeing you guys stepping into that level of workmanship. Gotta wonder though, base $200 shoes, plus materials, plus whatever the fair hourly rate you gentlemen earn x16??? or more man hours... how much do these go for? It always amazes me the crontrol you both show with the knife and that roller thing for the sole. I would have slipped and accidentally sliced up that shoes uppers a hundred times.😂
