Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I got the plate, so now it's time to start making some stuff work. Here we see what can be done about the turn signals.

    Love this stuff guys!!! It's so enjoyable to find people that enjoy the same crap I enjoy. Some people do crosswords, or video games, or drawing, or whatever. People generally like some sort of puzzles. These are the best of puzzles for me. There's nothing like polishing someone's old turd and making it in to something very good and usable.

    When I was younger I always wanted to do this to my 1981 Yamaha IT 125 Enduro. At the time it was very difficult to get a kit that would work as turn signals. My question is how would you get the tail light to function properly you'll have to figure out how to rig up some sort of stop switch. Also if you put the inverted forks on hopefully the headstock will fit although if it's an identical bike it should. I enjoy your videos.

    I have a street legal KTM 300EXC, and I built a rectifier out of spare car stereo parts so I could run an LED tail light. I did it just to see if I could, and now it has been on several long and intense enduro rides without missing a beat. They are super simple! Mine is just four diodes and a capacitor.

    LEDs work fine on AC current. Well, sort of. They will light when the AC current is flowing in the right direction, so in reality they will flash at half the Hz rating (typically 60 Hz) of the AC current. This will be faster than the human eye can see, so they will appear to be constantly on.

  • @racerboy3801
    @racerboy38016 жыл бұрын

    Hey, I've had some experience with my 98 EXC300, no battery, AC only. Regular halogen bulbs work fine with AC, it's only when you run LED signals that you would run into dramas, potentially needing a rectifier.

  • @MrBoston2612
    @MrBoston26126 жыл бұрын

    Add a 12 volt ac regulator between the blinkers and the power. It will keep the current at 12volts when you are at high rpm. That’s how I have it wired on my bike works great!

Golden spectro is a great product , and you might wanna buy a nice sparkplug ! This particular bike is bullet proof , great buy ! New wheel barrings wouldn't hurt and different size sprockets might help you get better performance on the road !!

    Makes total sense ... The flasher relay works on heat believe it or not. A bimetal strip (two different metals laminated) as they heat at different rates the current causes the strip to bend and break the circuit, it cools reconnects the circuit hence a blinking light. Basically an automatic on-off switch An Electronic flasher (typically used fro LED blinkers) would not have worked for you. Keep at it. Al ittle more wiring and a left-right switch good to go.
