Just like humans are different and enjoy different things, pets are different and enjoy different things. While I don't do stuff like that, I have known animals that would come back for more. Sometimes within minutes and sometimes after they have thought about it for a while. If that cat decides he/she did not enjoy the spinning experience then the next time you try to spin him/her, he/she will make a break for it. And when a cat decides "I want out of here" there is not a lot you can do about it by talking sweetly. Have you ever tried to bathe a cat that does not want a bath. We had 3 cats and 2 dogs. My ex decided they all needed a bath every couple of weeks. So, they all got a bath every couple of weeks. One cat, a big calico, didn't like baths. It was a full blown knock down, drag out fight every single time. I once had a Britney Spaniel that when invited to go hunting with me would check out the weather before deciding yes or no. Only dog I ever had that was not ready to romp in the woods, day or night.

It's like Nana from the Peter Pan Disney version, a caretaker dog of wonderful talent and love for the kids.

WOW!!! The dog was (AMAZING). I have never seen such, calibrated moves, and the oversight, care and the abilities this dog possesses. Keeping the child from harm's way, and getting an implement to extract that toy from the pond. I have never seen such act, from a loving animal. This action from the German Shepherd is amazing, and possibly the most knowledgeable breed ever.

They have rehearsed those moves with that dog a lot. The dog has been taught to do that exact thing under those exact circumstances. It's a good lesson though on how things are not always what they seem

The cat being spun around made me not focus on the rest of the video. Those people should be put in jail.

its a german shepherd, a verry protective, smart, task focused dog breed, theres a reason why this type of dog is used across the globe in special police forces etc.. of course it depends also for the most part on training the dog, so props to theyre masters.

That is one of the smartest dogs ive ever seen, all of that was done on his instinct and training - there was no one coaching him on, telling him what to grab or when, he just saw the kid in danger and pulled him back then got what he wanted so it didnt happen again. No doubt he saw the parents pulling the kids back when they got too close to the water before, so the dog was just helping out like mom/dad would! Tooooo awesome!!

The man in the grey jacket who saved the pug from getting killed by the elevator is a true hero! 🙏 Please people, if you have small dogs, carry them into and out of the elevator. Don't use automatic leashes when you use an elevator. Always have a close eye on your dog and the doors.

I learned the hard way not to use a leash on my dogs. The leash doesn't allow enough control. A lot of neighbors in my neck of the woods have horses. Some tolerate dogs but others don't. I have an irrigation canal behind my house with wide berms, which allows horses to walk on them. If a horse is frightened (we have coyotes in the area), it could take off in any direction until the rider is able to get it under control.

Who else had their jaw on the floor when watching that dog save that little boy’s ball out of the water? I literally am amazed by dogs every day I think they are the best people

I’m a dog trainer and a dog lover and I’m still in awe over how amazing that Shepard is. GOOD BOY!!!

At 10:38 watched, the child whose spinning the cat in circles on the floor and the woman whose laughing show lack of compassion for the cat and they don’t deserve to own a pet.

I am sorry but those A holes who spinned the cat were abusing that cat for laughs. I didn't think it was funny one bit. It actually pissed me off when that A hole picked the cat up and threw it on its feet to watch it fall over. That cat was trying to get away from those jerks. It was scared. You don't do that to an animal you love. If I could I would punch them and see how funny that is.

The BEST was at 1:06 when the watchful dog pulled the little kid away from the water and promptly showed him the RIGHT way to fetch a ball from a pool! 👍🏻

@@oldguy7528 Photoshopped? Do you see the level of environment interaction, the shadows, and depth of movement? Its very clear that is actual footage, and not too out of the ordinary that the dog would pick up those behaviors. I yell at my cat every time they claw the furniture, now my dog does it for me when he sees them - same thing here. I do think it took the dog longer then what we saw to get the ball, hence the camera cut, but overall this was an actual example of training and intellect from the dog and not some CGI magic.

I remember as a kid my mom's dog would ALWAYS pull me out of the water by grabbing my life vest and dragging me back in for my own safety. Was really annoying as a kid but seeing that German as an adult, mad respect to the animal and trainers.

I really love how much I see people love animals and stick up for animals I really feel like this time period is one of the best for animals because if you abuse animals in anyway there’s usually an army of people on the Internet ready to hunt you down! Go animals they deserve the best!

The clip @17:48 are Himalayan Honey Hunters! It's an ancient practice of gathering honey over cliffs. And apparently, that particular honey has hallucinogenic properties as well. So cool.

That owner was not even bothered when someone retrieved her dog for her. I would have been in bits if I thought I'd done that to my dog. People who are on their phones what in charge of dogs or small children need challenging. With regard those extendable leashes, I have them for my dogs and do not trust them. I've had them but have only ever used them a couple of times in a large open field where nothing was of danger. Having said that I still don't trust them.

Truly amazing, that dog wouldn't have been trained to do that, it acted on its observation of a complex problem and sought to create a solution, granted, the dog probably observed someone using the "tool" to retrieve objects from the water, but it understood that the child was endangering itself and prioritised the appropriate actions, just stunning, seriously, I am just blown out by that.

I do think it was probably trained to do that but even if it was trained that doesn’t take away from it being an amazing dog. I’ve seen other dogs trained to rescue kids from drowning but I have never seen them get the ball too. Dogs are amazing!!

10:10 This is called clearing the (mountain) road (not «path», it’s a road for cars) for snow, here in Norway (and everywhere else with such a climate, I would guess). They are making way for opening the road for a caravan of cars, lead by a plough, to be let over the mountain. This is normal during winter certain places. 😊🌨❄️☃️

Believe it or not I had a German Sheppard who was just as well trained and as intelligent as the dog who retrieves the ball from the fountain in this video. His name was Prince- man we loved that dog. My dad bought him and had him trained at the same place they train dogs to assist blind or people or are otherwise impaired. I used to get so mad at him because he would never let you pass him on your bicycle- he had to be first, even if that meant physically standing in front of you so you couldn't go. He was trained to check traffic and make sure it was safe for you to be on the road- and if he needed to, he would grab your back tire and just hold you there. We have pictures of us kids riding him like a horse- and the poor dog let us do it, never got upset or protested a bit. We have other pictures where we're climbing all over him and he just lays there and lets us- we were toddlers but I would assume it wasn't exactly comfortable for the dog. He finally passed away when I was 5 years old- we buried him and we still go to the grave sometime- I'm 50 now. I've been going to his grave for 45 years. We'll never forget you Prince.

​@@jendoi . I would have to ask my mother and dad to be certain but the best I can figure, he was about 13-14 years old when he passed. He got really sick, we took him to a vet but they couldn't figure it out- and then his kidneys shut down. Then he of course got even sicker and had to be put to sleep. I was the youngest of 3 brothers and we already had Prince when I was born- so I grew up with him watching after me.

I used to walk Sammy my brothers German shepherd,He was good mate and look out for me,We were out in the wilderness and he was sniffing around about 20 feet away amongst the trees,And this character set his Alsatian on(same breed short coat) me, Snarling jumping up i froze,I thought he was going to chew my head off,The owner smirking made effort to take control,Suddenly a big shadow jumped across my field of vision sammy had it by the throat and the owner wasn't smirking now,Actually looked afraid,Gathered his dog and was gone,whew thought I was a goner,Thanks Sammy x
