Not only is he an amazing chef (seriously that ramen looked SO GOOD) but he's a spectacular photographer. The shots in all of Alvins videos are something to behold. Yet another amazing video!

the fact that he actually took more than a week just to make a bowl of ramen means he really loves cooking, and he cooks to create something beautiful to look at and tasty, he doesn’t just cook to make something to eat.

you know you're legendary when you can bounce back after years and still be a fan favourite. found your first slow cooking and vibey video back when i was in high school - i'm a bit older now, and your videos, cinematography, and calm storytelling is part of what inspired me to create my own channel. to create and connect. keep it up!

When I Cook something, I don't just slap ingredients together and hope it becomes into something edible, I take the time to prepare, to give it love and effort. It is so satisfying to make ramen because it is a labor of love. Though time consuming, making a large batch of great ramen (taré, aroma oil, noodles, double stock and toppings/ajitama) is certainly worth it when you, family and friends finally get to enjoy a nice' satisfying bowl. It's so good to see you here! I've been cooking a lot more in the last few years than even the years before that. I'm getting much more detail oriented and learning a lot of new cuisines. I've never heard of your flavored oil, but I do sometimes make my own infused soy sauce using the same ingredients! But half of my cooking is still quite simple college/style dishes. This winter I've been making a lot of Ramen from the international store, but I will usually add a soft boiled egg, green onions, and depending on the fats and flavoring included I might add fried shallots and king oyster mushroom, or coconut milk and cilantro, or something else. These have been really simple, delicious $1 meals that I've been enjoying throughout the cold season and I can't wait to put a little more time and preparation into trying yours!
