Only issue I have with the new revo x is they went down from a aluminum frame to a carbon frame. To get a aluminum frame you have to step up to the sx I think it is.

I think he should step out of the ABU Garcia ring and try some other reels and rods. He might be surprised what he finds.
My first combo was a revo x, blue one that the tip broken on me jerkbait fishing. The reel feels crappy, for a 7:3:1. Not the best, but I think the vendetta rod with the max x reel is better set up. If the max x came in a 7:3 or 7:2 that would be great. I want to buy another revo x but im hesitant. Hope this vid changes my mind!
RIP frog. Nice combo. I'm almost saved up to get the Veritas combo. They only have a 7ft mh here though the 7.3 is a heavy. Might try the one you got after seeing this video. Would save me $100 to use for lures and line.
