If only you had some scaffolding lying around to hold up the barn roof LOL 😂 love watching this show. recommend a trailer on back of mower to log gear and wood around. Have spent many autumns chopping hard wood and it is brutal. You did great. ❤

Oops we took them down a few videos later 😅, but don't worry we will have new nest boxes since we are going to point the stone walls we will take away some of their nesting places we want to replace them.

Yeah they hunt at the bottom of our land from time to time, we got a sanglier roast not long ago 👍, we wanted to tackle the roof in the spring but the digging at the barn is going slower then i thought so it will be a bit later i think.

You got lucky with the roof, considering what happened it did minimal damage thankfully, and your caravan wasn't parked there. Great seeing the wildlife using the property, surprising to see how many wild boar.👍❤

Yeah, it wasnt in the best shape that part of it. Im sourcing parts to reinforce it and then i looked a bit around we might be able to jack it up and put it all into its rightfull place again.😎

Thx sandmac! We have hunters from the village who hunt the wild boar to keep the population in check, especially for the farmers their fields. We get meat from time to time from them 👍

Can you ratchet the broken beam into place and bolt a sister beam onto the original? Is that possible?

We are going to prop up the roof and replace the broken joint, but i will have help to do that! I can do a lot but some things are better with multiple people 😃

Have you considered a hydraulic or gas powered log splitter?

Hey Gordon, yes but we have to look at our finances so for the time being it is with the chainsaw and splitting axe.
