Hello my friend, you have fulfilled the dream of so many people including me, but in my place the sandy soil is no longer what it used to be, houses have sprung up and there is no longer a view of countryside to be able to rebuild. childhood home too you are amazing I really admire you my friend
I was thrilled to hear and see the whistler. Modern construction is modern construction but stone is primal. The stone walls are superb. Thanks for sharing.
Felicidades
Lucky chickens. Good progress.
Joaquim, I may have missed it, but have you given a plan of your restoration of the old house? It would be helpful in following your progress. Also your plans for the property generally.

I asked the same question . I went back over his older videos and there is a blue print of what he wants to do .
Wonderful progress. It is so much fun to watch as you bring your plans to fruition.

Thanks so much!
I just finished watching the videos and it was wonderful to see the walls slowly being freed from the vegetation that was covering them for many years. Unlike one or two commenters I completely understand that sometimes you need to take down to put back up and Im excited to watch what unfolds over the coming months. Also it's your property to with as you please, some people should remember their manners in this respect.

Thank you
Sounds like your outbuilding is very large. Having that build will be so much better for doing the other works on the property and the lean-to also, especially to be able to get out of the weather without having to sit in a car. I was glad to see the corn be sewn.
Excellen trabalho.. Continuação do bom trabalho.

Obrigado, tudo começa com um sonho, e nunca é tarde.
well I'm a little disappointed of your restauration destroying the entrance! Have you drawn plans? have a good week Joaquim
See you next week! Enjoy the festivities
It appeared to me that the removed stone walls had become soft and brittle. They were likely unsafe and could fall on their own at any time. Good decision to remove them.

The exterior wall will be mostly replaced with a glass panel so natural light can enter the space. The interior wall was removed to connect what was the cellar to the house, for additional living space.
Exciting times :)
Interested to see how this progresses.
First rule: Do no destroi stone walls. Second rule: do not cut (very old) trees. There is always other ways. Good luck

Is a twenty five year old tree an old tree? Is there ever a good reason to felling a tree? Is planting twenty five trees sufficient redemption for felling one ? How many meters of new stone wall must you build to pay for the sin of taking down one meter ? Are you just a passerby who has no idea what is going on but are still compelled to make an uninformed negative comment?

@@Joaquim_Conde Good for you to stand up and call out uninformed negative comments. Sometimes in doing so a friend can be made. 👍👍👍

@@Joaquim_Conde I agree with him! The new walls you're talking about are of cement!

@@Francedefence unlikely cement, maybe mortar, lime based or cement based both have sand and water.
why destroying the beautiful wall man what a shame
