So pretty! I love the warm neutral color scheme here - so versatile too for doodling and having events stand out. The family tracking is so creative! I use my take a note A6's vertical layout just for noting what I did for hobbies throughout the week and completely disregard the times haha. Like i'll have a horizontal row just for thoughts i have about what i've read, or skincare routines, or investments. But I am thinking about getting a hobonichi weekly supplement log my work hours, maybe like the first column you show!

Thank you! I love making little colour palettes 😊 I like that idea a lot, and I think the layout of the Take a Note lends itself well to that use. The Hobonichi weekly supplement is a super nice weekly planner to try various layouts with (even though it's a little small for some of the uses, but a work hour log will probably work fine 😊)

Thank you for the ideas! I tried time blocking and it is a lot and doesn't really provide flexibility, well the way I was using it.

Thank you for putting this list together - there are so many great ideas! I shifted from using my weekly pages last year for memory keeping which was much prettier and pleasing to the eye, to time blocking as a means to keep me sane. It’s less satisfying, and I find myself missing memory keeping and feeling less emotionally attached to my Cousin compared to last year. Now my Cousin is purely functional which is necessary, but not as “fun”. I normally track what I eat in the bottom section of the weeklies out of habit, but I like the idea of tracking media or expenses, so I may experiment with that in the future to switch things up from time to time.

Thank you for your comment! It's a bit of a struggle sometimes, isn't it - finding a balance between functional and fun spreads. I've previously used the weekly spreads for memory keeping as well, but found it hard to keep up with. Currently using the weekly for to-do lists and keeping the side and bottom for some fun decoration (which makes the to-do lists look more appealing as well 😆)

Excellent. I have tried them all, but as a creative person, my problem trying vertical weekly view is simply space issue. I just cant write important things in small letters. 3cm just does not do for me and I also dont want to use glasses to see what I wrote but its too small to read it on the go. So this year Cousin only for Day Detail view. Something hot and important need to be written in Bold and large for me. Thats why I always tend to go to my Plotter / William Hannah wekkly view with days on the left and notes on the right. Either way, thanks for excellent video. Very helpfull and full of great ideas.

Thank you for watching! I think a lot of people struggle with the vertical weekly because of its narrow columns, especially if you have bigger handwriting or need your letters to be bigger/bolder for visual reasons. I'm glad the horizontal weekly is a good alternative for you! (that is still one of my favourite planner layouts as well 😊)
