$20 glove is still good for a startup, not everyone have that amount of money in the begining/student, i used to play with $20 glove on my younger days :D good times good memories, & of course the $120 is the best

Honestly I like the 20$ gloves for training, it makes the training harder and forces you to improve your skills, also it doesn't make sense to me why I'd wear down the durability of a 140$ glove during training. I have cheap gloves for training, and keep the big boy expensive gloves for matches.

To some degree, yes. Catching is 50% equipment in my humble opinion. whoever has newer glove has better catch, you can also help yourself with gloveglu a bit too.

Either way I played with practice gloves even in my pro days. Pretty much as a keeper if you can't hone your skills to catch a ball with any gloves you shouldn't be in the box.
