I have a 1979 Lincoln penny the date on it is messed up on the nine plus a large line below the left eye a small one between the left ear and forehead and a large one on the chin. Can you please tell me anything about this. No mint mark

I just posted a 1968 S DDO on ebay. Mine is posted for $186.91 Just came across the 2004 DDR, being posted to ebay for $200.32 I also just posted a 1969 S DDO to ebay yesterday. There are a bunch of error coins in good condition out there to be found !

Save it. 2009 had 4 Lincoln cent designs that were minted only that year, and they are different from everything else. Because of the limited run, and complex details, many have flaws that are collected by variety collectors. They're all worth more than one cent.

The Lincoln cents that have Abraham Lincoln sitting on a log chopping wood his house and I think there was a couple of more those I would keep and have them sent out to be grade the higher the grade on the Lincoln cent the higher the pay

I have quite a few of the 2009 Lincoln cents. I do have all 4 tho and I do have errors on some. I keep all that I find. Mainly because I don't want to take them to someone that my friend went to and he told her she had all fakes. I do know myself that most of what she had was not fake so instead of her getting a 2nd opinion she sold her entire set to a pawn shop. I was so livid, and I told her not to ever take them to a pawn shop. But anyways I still have no clue where to go because I don't know if it will even be worth going.

I try to base pricing off of sources like coin books and pcgs, apmex, ngc, etc. Although some videos I have use raw pricing, I'd say I generally am referring to graded prices or at least high condition coins close to excellent or mint state condition. For new comers, as to avoid confusion or unrealistic expectation, I try to mention this in the video and link to reliable sources so they can research for themselves. I don't consider myself a guru on pricing, just informing of the potential prices for various coins.

No one actually pays that much for these new Pennie’s, I’m looking through my change jug and I have multiple on this list

I generally reference auction results for graded coins. I also look at local shops for comparable values. Ebay last sold is sometimes good as well. Yoemans and other coin guides are good but sometimes hit or miss

There are a few places you can sell where alot of ppl choose to sell mercurial and eBay are 2 examples also if you want to auction it there are some websites that do that as well just look up on Google for whatever coin your trying to sell for sale example : rare 1968 red cent for sale. Then click search and it will show you a bunch of websites ppl are selling them for I know because i had to figure this out myself

Weigh them Barbara if they weigh 3 grams on a scale you might have something valuable bc it's copper depending on the large date small date. Definitely check your homework before getting rid of them bc you could have some serious money right there.

I have several 1982D Lincoln cents and they look to be small date. I put the. On my scale n they are weighing 3.0oz. Others at 2.5oz. Im thinking my scale is off though. I have to find a certified scale

I would agree. Some of them are not worth grading. However, just like any collectible market, the coin market fluctuates and maybe some that have dipped to $18 will go up in value over time
