Sorry to have to do this, but I think you're mistaken about the peanut butter, if it had been used to apply peanut butter to Carry for the dog to lick off, then why a butter knife? I'm sure the BTS people have better tools for something like that. Also, next to the jar is a sleeve of saltine crackers, and since Stanley lives in a small apartment as a bachelor, it's just a quick, easy, cheap snack/meal.

One thing in particular that I liked, was the subversion of the trope where 'attractive person is bad, normal person is good', and instead the 'fancy sultry beauty' was actually the good person, and the 'normal working class gal' was the untrustworthy exploiter. Since, after all, just because someone is attractive doesn't automatically make them good or bad; Hollywood just likes to frame it one way or the other as is convenient to the plot, whether they want to suggest that the overly attractive people are using their looks to get away with terrible stuff, or suggesting that the outer beauty reflects the inner beauty. In The Mask, it initially appears like they were going to go that way Granted, this is 'Hollywood plain', so 'normal standards attractive'. *After watching the video* Huh, I wasn't expecting this to actually be discussed at all in this video, and I don't recall ever noticing that she claimed to work for different papers.

Watching on VHS (shut up! I am NOT old!), I was never sure how Stanley mistakes a shapeless mass of floating debris for a drowning man. After higher definition, I could see how a little sheet clung to the wooden mask to show us facial features. Looked like you could see a head and torso of someone getting suffocated by the sheet.

The Legion of Doom aka The Road Warriors had been using that line long before being in the WWF in the early ‘90’s. Not to mention that Nightmare on Elm Street 3 is from 1987 while The Legion of Doom had been teaming since 1983 in Georgia Championship Wrestling.

I know how difficult it is to work with background extras. I was the extras wrangler for a comedy starring Thomas Lennon. I was in charge of over 200 people. That meant auditioning them, getting their contact information, having them sign contracts, emailing them call sheets, location maps, etc. For almost a month, I had to coordinate with them, the director, the costume department, the makeup department, the casting director, the assistant director, payroll, and catering. Countless emails, phone calls, texts, and face to face conversations. Some shooting days were anywhere from twelve to seventeen hours long. I can definitely forgive the extras director for The Mask for that one scene.

#16. She also hesitates when Stanley recognizes her name from the advice column. She also states plainly that she seeks to switch from the column to investigative journalism so as to up her income bracket.
