Question of the Day: What is the best class you have ever taken? My answer: I love learning and have taken so many interesting and fun classes in my life. Some of the best classes I've taken have been acting classes. When I was in high school I usually spent my summer vacation taking acting classes and performing in productions. I have many fond memories of those summer acting courses. How about you?

Thanks for your kind comment. I am so happy that you enjoyed this collocation lesson. Understanding and using collocations is so important for developing English fluency, so I am very glad that you were able to learn from this English lesson. ☺️ Speaking of collocations, when we use the verb 'prepare' it is usually followed with 'for'. "Prepare for" is an example of a Prepositional Verb which is a type of collocation. So you should say, "I enjoy learning collocations for preparing for IELTS." Or to sound more natural and avoid using 'for' twice in such a short sentence, "I enjoy learning collocations to prepare for IELTS." I recommend watching this lesson about other prepositional verbs using the preposition FOR: kzread.info/dash/bejne/f3mDxqiOlNnFcbQ.html The only other small mistake is, "Please kindly correct any grammatical mistakes if you find them in my writing." Keep up the excellent work, but don't forget to take a break 😉 Have a great weekend!

Take a load off someone's mind is also an excellent English expression with 'take'. It means to relieve someone of their anxiety and to help them stop worrying. If you were worried about using 'take' correctly, I hope this lesson took a load off your mind. 😉
