Don't just finish the video and move on to the next. Actively note down the concepts explained in the video. Read that everyday until your brain takes it to your subconscious mind. There is no use of watching all these if your brain cannot retain anything after 3 days.

I make a playlist of videos to watch at least 4-5 times a week to kinda detox from other content/movies to keep myself reminded of whats important to me. Listening to the same helpful videos over and over is like affirmations, and it makes it easier to incorporate the advice into my life.

20:28 To be fair, if you don't have a lot, this makes sense and is even an advantage. If you only have $50, then it makes sense to focus on preventing the loss of $50 (and potentially having nothing), than to focus on gaining $50. Yeah you could potentially double your standard of living, but the advantage of that isn't worth the potential of having no standard of living at all. I don't understand it as much when it comes to rich people though tbh.

I don't think this necessarily means gambling in the sense of betting and doubling. Rather, if you could burn $50 and be given a replacement $50. you likely would not choose this even though it's net neutral. We consider the opportunity cost over the opportunity of equal or possibly greater value.

Have you ever seen a contemporary portrait of Cleopatra? She was not a particularly beautiful woman. Male scholars of later years couldn't let go of their bias against women, and attributed all of her success to beauty and seduction, when in fact she was a briliant and calculating ruler. It's like a halo effect in reverse, but it much more like the Darwin exmple later in the video.
