$20 Or Less Freeze Dryer Load Pork Loin Roast Ep76

Today I roast a whole Pork Loin Roast. I then thinly slice it and tray it up for the Harvest Right Freeze Dryer. When it is done I reconstitute some and do a taste test. It came out perfect

Nice work! We have done 6 pork loins now, will do more after vegetable season. I do them raw, sliced into about 1/2" slices. It is easy to trim the fat when they are raw and cold and two large loins will fit into our large freeze dryer. They re-hydrate easily and since they are raw they cook perfectly in a really hot skillet, no worries about over cooking and can be seasoned in a variety of ways.

I'm curious what the longest it would store for in a Mylar with O2 absorbers? It's my understanding that any meat with fat of any kind won't store long.

I think the reconstitution would have washed it off anyway. I think the real answer is to freeze dry the gravy separately and reconstitute separately.
