But if you want to be really spooked you shouldn’t look to the future, but rather the past. These are the 20 most feared weapons in ancient history!

I love my slings. I make concrete balls with an ice cream scoop as I don't have much clay or rocks. You can even bring it on an airplane. I haven't joined any of the online slinging competitions with clips from practical paracord. Maybe when I am better at it.

it has been proven that the archimedes' heat/death ray was absolute nonsense. even using more modern parabolic mirrors it failed. to achieve what history claims it would take like 5-10 thousand people aiming a parabolic mirror like 3 x bigger then themselves at the exact same point. as the farther you get from the mirror the more heat is lost, easy to test yourself get a parabolic mirror and see how weak it is outside of the close by focal point. much like a magnifying lens very short range. the only way to make it work with limited refractors is to have a bunch of frensal lenses focusing a ton of sun light into a tube of very strong focusing lenses and even that would be hard to achieve and aim.
