20 Min Beginners / Low Impact Plus Size Rebounding workout on a JumpSport Fitness Trampoline

After receiving several messages from followers requesting a workout that was slower paced and more geared up to plus size participants, we have created today’s session. We have slowed the pace of the music done, kept movements simple and made sure there are no knee raises or leg kicks. The idea of this workout is to really allow you to become comfortable on your rebounder. Exercises are held for counts of 2 to begin with and then there is the option for speeding up the tempo if you feel ready for it.
If you feel you need to make this more intense then add in a light weight and see how it intensifies the workout.

    I’m 58. Cut out sugar and wheat and processed foods in March. Down 30 lbs. got my rebounder yesterday and just did this workout with you!! I made it through the whole thing!! Thank you from Savannah GA. I will keep doing this video until I can progress to your others. Woohoo!!!

    @happybeetv so cool similar story. Started carnivore 3 wks ago. Have only lost 3 lbs. Im 60 also. Just bought a Jumpsport. I considered the bcan. Do you like it? How's it going? Can't wait till I can say I've lost 80 lbs!!!

    I used to be able to do 30 minutes athletic and active on the rebounder. I stopped exercising at about age 49 then I went through menopause at age 50 and I'm just getting back to it at 53 and I cannot believe how out of shape I have become. I had to back it up a few notches and do this video. Although I do think I could do one where I kick my legs this was perfect for me tonight because I had been on my feet so much today. Thank you so much for making this video it really was a help and I did feel it on my legs. I'm hoping to get to where I can do the same videos that I used to be able to do. One day at a time

    I loved this workout because I do have "PLUS" size issues. I'm too heavy and my core isn't strong enough to come off the mat. I appreciate you paying attention to those us that can't be about all the "crazy" at the moment. :)

    I’m a 61 yr old beginner and this workout was good for me. I prefer 4 or 8 count repetitions vs. the 2 count or rapid changes in movements. Thank you for your consideration in those who aren’t as speedy!

    Thank you that’s great. My husband did a class before this that is titled for Restricted movement and it’s another wonderful low impact, slower paced class. We also have one coming out Friday that is for fatigue and is a circuit system that has a longer recovery, so I hope you will enjoy these to. They can all be found in the beginners playlist.     Yes thank you, this class can be used on many different levels. We also have another similar to this called bounce for restricted movement. Plus we have a new one out Friday called bounce for fatigue that will also be at a slower pace. Thank you for watching 😊

    I’ve been doing this particular workout with you for maybe two months. I do it every other day, with yoga and small hand weights on the other days. I have rather bad scoliosis curves (2) and I am feeling a bit stronger. Thank you so much for doing these workouts. Your voice is lovely and the music is not annoying. 😊

    This is Fantastic!!! Love Love Love it! The music is great too! Again spot on regarding what we discussed. I've had extensive testing on my heart recently and my cardiologist wants me to keep exercising but I've got to keep it somewhat low key.     Totally LOVED this - the pace , the music which makes me want to dance into the bounces & movements . Music, of course , is a very personal thing , like one's taste in perfume , & I have avoided so many rebounder workouts bc I couldn't stand the music , & often the instructor's voice is drowned . I started yesterday with another vid of yours , loved it too !... but petered out about half way 😅 then I found this . Your teaching method , for me is perfect - not too much talking , just at appropriate times and your encourgaing words really help too . I found your comment with the alternating foot & leg forward movement very useful (hope you know which I mean , everyone who reads this). You commented there may be a quad burn , which made me realise that I wasn't pushing down on the leg in front , instead all my weight was on the leg I stand on . I didn't manage to lean into the front leg when it was the left-right quick changeovers , but put all my weight on the back standing leg for that . This vid is such a good teacher of synchronising the arm movements too , also bc it's at the right pace for me , since I'm 74 , & need to improve all body movements Finally the ending is spot on with those stretches , & safety warning of how to get off the trampoline safely . You're the best ! 🤩👍🏻👏💞💕💫

    @@dil7185 yes the Mini Moves series was designed for those days you want to just grab and go. They can be linked together to. We also have a series called, Series 21 which is a great combo of cardio and strength training using the rebounder for week 2 and 3. These can be found in the workout series playlist. They are just 21 mins for each video. 😊

    I never thought I'd need this workout. I've been rebounding for years and many of your routines have been a part of that. But having Covid Long Haulers for over a year now has caused me to literally start over with my fitness journey.     Love this video, Ms Claire..thank you for another great one for us older generation..I’m 71 and started rebounding in April..found yours and Scott’s channel and have been doing the Step series with Scott and his parents. Loved seeing them in the video too. Decided I would try this one today and was able to make it through with just a few slow downs..thank you for awesome workouts.. I love rebounding with y’all. But we have more like this in our beginners playlist. Can I suggest rebounding for restricted movement, rebounding for movement and mobility and my lipedema workout to. All are the same pace as this.     This one is super helpful for me at the moment. I must keep my exercise up for best outcomes with my chemo drug, and at the same time I have a soft cast on one leg for clearing lymph.     Thank for this! Literally used to be athletic and then joined the military. Now I’m broken everywhere and walking got boring for me. Hubby bought me a personal trampoline and after one session with you and now I’m looking for an upgrade. Your class is an excellent start! As we say in the army, slow and steady wins the race!

    That’s brilliant and well done you. In fact we have a step by step series that’s starts with just 9 mins and 1000 steps. This would be a great class for you to try and gradually work your way through the classes as the steps increase

    I'm so glad I have found you. I am not able to jump high due to a knee issue, but this video helped me and I was able to finish today, my first day of working on a trampoline. I will follow this session for a week or two before moving to something more difficult. Thank you so much.

    First time doing this one and I enjoyed it. I’m hormonal and tired today and it was just right. I did singles rather than doubles and in the last section I even did straddle arms 😉 I really appreciate these more gentle bounces that we can amp up on days we feel like it and do as is as well. You’re the best Claire! 🤩

    I’m one week post rotator cuff/bicep repair surgery. Not fun! I’ve worried about how to work through rebounder withdrawal during the six weeks my arm is in a sling and movement is restricted. This appeared in my KZread feed this morning. I’m happy that very soon I will once again rebound…with many modifications. I really appreciate that you’re making this amazing piece of equipment something that’s truly accessible to all. Thank you.

    My rebounder was under the bed for the past 2 Years. I found you by scrolling 'gentle rebounder workouts on You Tube.' I am really happy with this session, and glad i tried again. The neuropathies in my feet thank you for a kinder routine, and a little sweat.

    I am just starting with a rebounder, i am 59. I am not plus size but not if very good shape from lack of exercise. I was worried about balance and keeping up. This was a really good starting point for me. I will continue on as I work up to faster workouts. Thank you.

    I love this video. Some days I just think I can’t even bring myself to do any exercise because I’m so exhausted and this is my go to work out on these days. I think I’ve done it 3-4 times and depending on my energy levels I do the fast version or slow. Thank you
