I have been listening and some of you requested a beginner Reflex Bag Workout. Well, there it is! I am using the Outshock Punching Ball (Reflex Bag) but you can definetively do this workout on any other type of Reflex Bag. A reflex bag can help you improve your footwork, rhythm, accuracy, timing, and hand speed This workout also combines drills on the reflex Bag and bodyweight exercises. Hope you like it!

I just turned 56. I have arthritis and fibromyalgua. I can never find any workout that is conducive to my pain issues. I think the last time I broke out in a sweat was the Greg Smithy days of B*ns of Steel. Well... that's changed! On a whim I bought a punching bag to help with stress. I never used one so I found this beginners video. He is awesome, doesn't pressure you, and I can almost keep up with him (yes I know he's slowing down for beginners but still) I haven't had this good of a workout in years and I can't wait to do it again! Love it!!

I am NOT a boxer. My husband bought an Everlast Core Reflex bag the other day. He hasn't touched it since we put it together. Meanwhile, his wife has been boxing away on it! 😅 So I'm on here to figure out how to use it properly. Very cool that this is really two workouts in one. Thanks!

Brilliant work out with easy to follow instructions for the beginner. I bought my reflex bag for my son. Used to box back in the day so thought whilst he was at school I’d give it a go. How I have missed it. This will be my go to 5 days a week now. Thanks.

I’m about to do my second one. Just got one of these today. They’re brilliant and this is a great little workout. I’ve just altered it a bit for my own fitness needs and added some skipping and pads in there with my mate. Happy sweating and good luck for the fight night. Remember to breathe, stay loose and have fun. You’ll love it. I was way too nervous last time at the event but can’t wait to do it this time as I’m much fitter 2 stone lighter 🥊
For those that don't know the basics,don't know sh*t, it will take you longer to progress. This is actually a good vedio teaching basic technique and training. Simple makes perfect 💪🏼 8:35

I am now retired, and have not done any boxing before. I have really enjoyed your videos, especially as, being still quite light on my feet, I appear to have some ability. I wish I had started when I was younger, as I realise I am now never likely to take part in any actual fights, but in the meantime I intend to take part in your videos, which are first class, very enjoyable and excellent for fitness..

I am 35 female over weight hate everything but nothing more than myself. I also really feel the need to punch something all the time but I swallow my feelings instead. Decided I need to put this energy into starting to show up for myself. So I ordered a bag gloves excreta it's coming tomorrow. At the least, I can get a workout and lose some weight. Both in the mental and physical sense. hopefully maybe it will go somewhere 😊

Av started this bigginners video think av got couple weeks till I'm more stable with the my left hook, the left hook deosnt feel that clever like
I am surprised you didnt go for a Cobra bag, you can grab a knockoff for around $150. The difference with the quick snap is a lot more fun. The double ender and Cobra are both a blast as you know. No better way to train your reflexes for a fight

Yeah... those walmart bags with the spring at the bottom are pretty slow. I think the double end bag is best if you don't want to spend $300 on a cobra bag

Hi Simone Martino, the reflex bag from Decathlon is both for teenagers and adults, but althought it has an adjustable height it is limited to a max of 155 cm. Some other similar reflex bag, such as the Everlast (amzn.to/3F5ZWZd), is a bit higher: 160 cm and the Ringside Fitness Reflex Bag (amzn.to/3Hc3Z98) is much taller: 175,3 cm. I am 173cm, and the Outshock Punching Ball from Decathlon is fine for my height, but someone taller may need to raise the reflex bag a little by adding a plaform underneath it or chose a different brand. I personnaly own 2 Reflex Bag from Decathlon and they are fine, I have had one of them for more than 2 years now. But you need to use them correctly. I just recently confirmed that with Decathlon Canada.

Boxing can have positive health benefits, including toning your arms. Strengthening the triceps can reduce the appearance of bat wings.
You can hit it alil harder like 50 - 65% but they get it wrong they think it's about hard punches with this it's not a heavy bag it's all for cardio , eye coordination & reflexes

Are the base full of sand? Got a 2and hand one and wondered if it needed more sand

Mine is not filled with sand; it’s filled with water. Both options are good, for as long as the base doesn’t leak.

I guess I hit my reflex bag too hard, I had the "head" part fly off once and the whole pole, including spring, fly off twice when doing jabs and hooks.

Interesting 🧐, I never looked at it that way! When I get closer to the reflex bag it reduces reaction time. So I need to be quicker at hitting the reflex bag compared to when I am further away. Hope this helps answering your question?
