Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in 4 years on the job.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!
Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

I live in Southern US. I usually mow and then trim. You trim and then mow...I think that works better so I’ll change my strategy. Always follow the professionals.

That was very interesting to see all together. It is a lot of time pushing a mower in one day! How many miles did your helper put in (If he wears a tracker wristwatch like I do.)? Nice to see some "good yards", instead of transformations. However, not nearly as exciting - although I'm not doing the hard labor. Haha

Despite the fact that you guys worked very hard (so many hills 😰) I found this very relaxing. Maybe it’s the sound of the mower? 🤷🏻♀️💁🏻♀️ I have some questions: do you make sure the clients pick up the dog poop, do you charge more if they don’t, do you charge more if you have to move kids play toys, is the weed killer spray safe around dogs (kinda worried about little Winston), who’s Jim? We don't make the client's pickup dog poo, some do it anyway and yes we charge some clients extra. We don't charge extra for moving play toys, but it is a consideration when quoting. I usually recommend the owner keeps pets and children away from areas that have been sprayed for at least 3-4 hours, and I've never had any problems : Jim Penman: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Penman

Usually with the really hard jobs I just quote high, but I have never turned down a request if I'm looking for work

I'm exhausted from watching you boys pushing and pulling the mowers! I know there's a compromise between push and propelled mowers in terms of weight and shoot width but in my opinion it doesn't out weigh the strain on my old body.

I was looking at self-propelled mowers the other day, and it just doesn't add up. They are heavy, and we lift our mowers a lot, I need a whole new set of spares and I need to change the whole setup in my vehicle. So in the end I decided to stick with the 19" push mowers, but I have ordered a 22" self-propelled side throw and I bought a ride on to make it easier
