and take in mind, the game was probably in a playable state (with all the details) in 2016-17.. so what could they make if they made one with their current possibilities?

I dont belive Rockstar games wil be able to beat red dead redemption 2. They made the game miles ahead of what we had back than.

​@@LimdDrake graphics and details yes 115% but honestly, I can see why someone would prefer RDR1s gameplay. I've played both for hundreds of hours but I remember more about rdr1 gameplay than I do about rdr2. The only minigame I "remember" in 2 is poker because I like poker but I played everything in 1 all the time. Horseshoes, five finger fillet, poker, blackjack, bounty hunting, racing and of course treasure maps. 2 is a better game to just zone out and relax in but 1 had more memorable gameplay. And the story was incredible all the way through, while rdr2 has multiple slogs to get through (rhodes sherrif, guarma, prison escape and the van horn siege come to mind, I personally dont mind the intro)

I generally skip these RDR 2 detail videos cause I've seen hundreds of them at this point, but clicked because it was NikTek. Was not disappointed at all

8 years of development process, 1600 person... All of them happened between 2010 - 2018. Time flies.

I hope I am alive to play Rdr3. Cant wait to see the inception of Dutch's gang, Arthur's childhood. Early life of all the gang members, inception of the rivalry with O Driscoll's gang and not to forget mentioning an era when the gang culture pretty much flourished. All this, with a new and enhanced map with next Gen graphics... Can't wait.

Another thing is that if you bond with your horse at maximum level then while standing still on your horse and if you press space bar then your horse is starting to do a tip tap kind of march or trotting.

I am STILL playing this game. SP mode only. I think i only spent about 3hours at best for MP mode.

I’ve seen a lot of these detail videos and details in-game. But the whirlpool one???? I am still shocked this game was made in 2018

I mean... Isn't this a norm of some sort? Such details in this genre should be there, so you can immerse in the story. Imagine trying to believe in what's happening in a game where the world is just a map with different objects that serve the only purpose of obstacles that are not even doing anything

Rockstar had one job to make RDRO thrive and each opportunity they had, they threw it out for the money GTA brings them. Something as simple as a story DLC, as wanted by many. That is all we need Rockstar.

Insane details video from a 6 yr old game says a lot. But sadly these take a lot of disk space and performance

It's a wonder how some people find this game boring and are not amazed by it. I compared RDR2 with Ghost of Tshushima in a comment and many liked it but many of them said it's boring and all.

No doubt Gta 6 will be good, both graphically and story wise but I think it will take a great deal of effort to beat this game as the no 1 because of the depth it has in its characters, story, open world. And I like the greenery more visually pleasing than a modern city setting. I can keep riding on my horse all day long.

Even though its very detailted the single player is still very strict one way to do a mission with one gun set you alter anything mission failed. its like one team made the missions while the other made the world the online was made by the mobile devision sense mp is so grindy. Also everyone remeber this was pre 2020 sony the new censorship rules along with dei crap and gta + membership gta 6 wont be as detailed. If you had horse d today the devs would get canceled. Oh also the fact everyone on top including the lead writer of rdr 2 & gta 5 og gang left rstar.

This game is basically West World. I cannot believe i got this game at 60% off it feels like i stole it. And i can place my bet that nothing coming out next year, not even the next GTA, would beat it in terms of realism and immersion.
