If they do make a third, I’m hoping that the school uniform from first, which was missing in the second, returns in the third.

I personally prefer the art design of the second MH Stories since there was a balance of both chibi anime stylings and the more traditional monster models. Still I’m glad the first game got a remaster and I’ll get it eventually. Other previous MH games definitely deserve to get remastered and touched up as well.

I never finished MH Stories on the 3DS (I was somewhere in the desert) so 30€ for the full game+all DLC+new complete VA covering, is an absolut must buy for me!

They’d probably still gatekeep Fatalis for the quintessential “post game super boss” but an Alatreon or Safijiva as a rare but strong monstie might be a good idea (if not a little broken for PvP)

Hopefully they kept the broken mess that is Shield bash, as it has a chance of stunning the enemy, something they removed in Wings of ruin, as you cant stun large monsters fir some reason... Oh and Chrome sword inflicting venom, the best great sword to fight elder dragons with.

Stun is still present in stories 2 just it isn't as relevant as it used to be since it's on like three moves. The only good stunning move I can remember is Velkhana's blizzard breath.

CAPCOM really being the only non indie game developer who does good things for the players and not only money. At least with Monster Hunter. Please...by the love of god. Stay that way.

I’ve actually convinced my friend to play MHS2 with me when it comes out. He does not have a Switch, so seeing him get to enjoy with this game along with the first one will be a new experience for him.

I played the original release of this game before I played wings of ruin in fact because I fell in love with Monster Hunter world. I wanted to give this one a shot. It caught my attention and then I was hooked. I’ve always been Fascinated with the Monster Hunter franchise from the very, very beginning when it first ever released in fact back when you get magazines and they’d have a demo disk with them first saw a glimpse of the Monster Hunter game through the demo disk, but when I played the game stunk badly. I could get the hang of it. I still continue to follow the franchise, though I never was able to get the hang of plane into world and stories really helped to hook me into keeping with the franchise both stories and the mainstream Monster Hunter as well. Also, you guys vids help to 😊

Mhs2 was my first mh game. As I was playing the 2nd I ordered mhs1 because I was enjoying 2 so much. I then beat 1 on 3ds. I can't wait for the remake, and hopefully an announcement of a third game.

The one most thing I look forward too which they robbed us sort of with Wimgs of Ruin is that the first game allowed you to swap a monsties element.

All I have to say Is yes. This game was such an awesome part of my 3DS game life and it is the perfect combo of MH feels mixed with turn based, monster taming I can't be ANY happier that it's getting not only a HD mix, And fully dubbed voices, AND all the monsters from the Japan exclusive side, AAAAAAAAND I can still change the monster type IM GONNA MAKE A WATER TEOSTRA AND NOBODY CAN STOP ME

I"m so happy MHS2 was a success, i litterally had no idea. No one around me even know this game exists even if i talk to them about it they have no interest. I hope a MHS3 happens some time soon. I absolustly fell in love with the game. Can't wait for the remake.

I hope the remastered revives the community for both MHS1 and 2, I've only started playing 2 recently but I've played 1 a long time ago and I want to enjoy both games with other people

I really liked Monster Hunter Stories when it came out on the DS. I had been meaning to play the 2nd one for some time but never got around to it. Honestly these remasters are a perfect chance to replay/play both.

welp, time to properly bring back my Bloodhelm Arzuros build from the first game. I really need to bring my boy Zenith back to his full glory in the remaster XD I hope to see everyone enjoying the first game just as much as they did the sequel.

Yep! It has all the content from the start, including Japan only content as the video says. It also has full voice acting for the first time. MHST2 has more quality of life, but the first still has a great story and you'll learn more about the returning characters.

Hot damn, I loved the first game and was happy with the second game as well, eager to play the revamped version. The big bad is gonna look so cool with higher details and I cant wait to play it eventually

did you khow that stories had an anime it acually played in monster hunter channel i watched the full series when it premiered on tv and there were some diffrences like 1 the mc had ratha for a long time before he "died" to the point where he could figth the narcaguca 2 shevals mother dies in the first cutscene of the game but dies only when narcaguca attacks the village wich is the end of sezon 1 i think if not sezon then arc 3 there the characters like the liana (the girl with barrioth) and the hunter were for longer time with the mc than in game

I can't wait to replay this! I got a new 3DS after my MH4U Special Edition one was stolen just to play it. I also bought it on Mobile. But it's going to be great to have voice acting finally!

in my opinion the first was indeed better, a lot of small things in 1 was so nice like being able to swap monstie elements and broken moves, I feel like 2 just made everything too strict on what you could use

In the JP version of the game when it was originally released. The Dark Riders were special challenge enemies that were in a dlc tower

Mh stories 1 and 2 are one of my favorite jrpg turn based serie! It's just the perfect blend for me!

I’m so happy that monster hunter stories is more widely recognized now and that the second game was financially successful. It really gives me hope for a third installment one day. Stories 2 is a great game, but the charm of the first one is pulling me back in

I like MHS more than MHS2. I think it's because MHS is better in terms of letting some or most monsties viable even if you build them on different element unlike MHS2. And I think monsties change colors a little if you change their element in MHS.

It's getting a remaster because it needed one the 3ds is shut down now And the android version of stories doesn't have online

Looks like a downgrade from the sequel to me Edit: Came back from another review on PC/PS and it looked 10x better. I think seeing it on switch was the issue I was having

I have beaten this game final boss was hard when i got online i will proably play with friends!

If there is absolutly no new monsti/weapon compare to the orignal, its gona be a pass for me, i played for 300 hours on 3ds, i didn't get the chanc to play the dlc, but the monsties in the dlc was in 2 in the end so...
