20 Different Types Of Rodents In The World. Rodents are mammals described by upper and lower pairs of ever-growing rootless teeth. Chipmunks, marmots, woodchucks, squirrels, prairie dogs, and gophers belong to one rodent group. Another group includes common house mice, rats, gerbils, hamsters, lemmings, and voles. Another well-known group contains porcupines, capybaras, agouti, guinea pigs, and chinchillas.

@@averagecomicsenjoyer6545 I just watched again and it shows a dwarf hamster for "gerbils," a red squirrel for "agouti," some type of groundhog for "mus" (which is just the genus name for mice?), then for "house mouse" it shows a pet rat and the caption says grey squirrel. I think this is bait

@idelsagil9129, lagomorphs are not rodents, they are a separate order, hence, lagomorphs and rodents are different, lagomorphs have six incisors, while rodents have four incisors, both belong to the granorder Glires, but they are not that closely related, which is why Glires is further split into two broader groups, which are Duplicidentata for the lagomorphs and fossil taxa more closely related to lagomorphs than to rodents and Simplicidentata for the rodents and fossil taxa more closely related to rodents than to lagomorphs, much similar to hoofed mammals actually being two separate orders: Perissodactyla (Odd-Toed Hoofed Mammals) and Artiodactyla (Even-Toed Hoofed Mammals) that despite both belonging to Ungulata, they are not that closely related at all either, which is why hoofed mammals (grandorder Ungulata) are further split into two broader groups, which are Mesaxonia for the odd-toed hoofed mammals and fossil taxa more closely related to odd-toed hoofed mammals than to even-toed hoofed mammals and Paraxonia for the even-toed hoofed mammals and fossil taxa more closely related to even-toed hoofed mammals than they are to odd-toed hoofed mammals.

you missed several important types of rodents, such as Porcupines, Mole Rats, and Dormice. And you implied that "Mus" the true mice are separate from their larger family of "Muridae". Mus are Muridae. And multiple times you put the wrong animal on screen. This is a terrible video filled with misinformation and it should be deleted.
