For painfully slow learners like me, the gentle pace, the breaking down of phrases and the repetition, are all IDEAL. Frank

Remember there is nothing wrong with learning slow, it's only our educational system that's pushing the idea that slow learning is something bad :3

@@kanter1598 Thank you, Kanter. Your kind response is very encouraging. But there is no escaping the fact that for English speakers, it is a helluva language to grapple with. I do understand Hindi though.

For anyone who's native Enghlish speaker and reading this rn.. I'm Czech, I have a great Czech when it comes to grammar.. I need to grow and learn faster in English but I haven't any native speaking friend. We can learn each other. If you play any games, even better because we'd have something to talk about. I'm not a gamer tho..Let me know. Have a good dayy!

Hi a year later. What options are there for people moving to Czechia to learn the language? In sweden we have something called "swedish for foreigners" is this an option in Czechia?

Marvin Sokolik USA Thank you , you are a great teacher ,now I might have a chance at learning Czech. Those dvd's are harder to use to learn from than seeing someone who enjoys sharing their language with others. My family came to the US in 1869 to NEBRASKA USA ,they came from Hradec Jindrichuv ,Kolency , My family still lives there ,but most of them speak Czech only.
