Beta fish are friendly also, the beta jumping out and "biting" the finger was thinking it was being fed. They are highly interactive. You can have betas together as long as there is only 1 male per tank. It may be aggressive in mating :(

I agree with everything except for the keeping bettas together part. While it is possible it isn't something I would encourage people trying as it can be difficult and have no guarantee of success (females may be more peaceful than males but they can still fight and injure each other)

A betta fish bite doesn't hurt at all, it is like a tickle. I have watched the clip showing a colorful betta fish jumping out of the water and biting the human. It was a jumping competition between a male and a female betta fish. Oh, and in the video where a red betta fish "hugs" a white fish (which is a female betta fish), and the white one seems to be dead, it is not. This is just how betta fish mate. The male hugs the female to help her lay the eggs, and then she remains unconscious for a while. I have a lot of experience with betta fish, and it is obviously normal that in the other clip the betta fish ate the smaller fish, since it is a carnivore. It is true that they cannot be kept with other fish, but please stop spreading false information. Betta fish are perfectly lovely pets and not at all dangerous. They are only aggresive with other fish and not with humans. They are smart and can also learn to recognize their owner as their caretaker. As I mentioned, their bite does not hurt. The fact that you put a betta fish in a video titled '20 cute but DEADLY pets' is ridiculous.

Very much agree, especially that last bit. The *thumbnail* is a picture of a betta fish and a badly injured human hand, which is one of the most ludicrous things I have ever seen.

Ferrets are not illegal in the USA. They are illegal to sell in certain States but they are completely legal to own in every single state. Some states require special habitat for them why not supervise like a big huge cage. But other than that ferrets are legal. That's why they sell them at Petco.

He does realize not all snakes are venomous right? Also their venom is not in their saliva it come out of their fangs and is injected into you

Mine's a pitbull mix I think and he's the most docile thing ever We used to have a little jack russel who was much fiestier. She'd gnaw at him and growl at him (and then start licking him) and he would just take it like a champ XD

My friend has three in NJ. I have also had the deadly beta fish before, not sure how many people they kill a year but I never had an issue LOL :)

I used to have a hedgehog and she was friendly. I only got bit by her a couple times soon after getting her. I washed and treated the very small bite wound and I was fine. I did get pricked by her quills (which are not the same as porcupine quills, as this video claims, they don't come off and get stuck in your skin), the only affect I got from being pricke by the quills was a mild skin irritation. And I had heard that hedgehogs could potentially spread some sort of disease, but I asked a vet about the risks and he said that if they are kept in a clean environment that the risk is very low. For most of the animals talked about in this video healthy animals kept in proper, clean environments should be low risk of spreading diseases.

Ferrets are NOT illegal to own in the USA. There are only TWO states in which they are illegal to own: California and Hawaii. However they are illegal to own if not fixed because if the female goes into heat and doesn't get bred she could die. I used to run a ferret rescue and they are very smart. I had one I would play 'tag' with and I used to take mine to ferret shows. And that baby 'ferret' was actually a baby otter. And technically any animal CAN be dangerous. After all they are animals, people need to remember that.

I had a dwarf hamster, and he passed away a while ago. But he was a biter when I first got him. I wore gloves at first, but after he settled in and adjusted, he stopped biting. He ended up being such a friendly hamster. But although when he did bite and the bites hurt, a hamster is NOT deadly. It couldn't kill a human even if it wanted to.

That is the number one reason dogs are turned into shelters is from not being trained. Which is a shame since it’s the other end of the leashes (their owners) responsibility. At the end of the day, animals are just that, animals. People just need to do their homework before they get any animal as a pet. Please Google for even five minutes and you can find all these facts. Don't listen to this video. He definitely doesn't have his facts straight.🙄 Find better sources of information, as most of the animals he talked about are not as dangerous as he tries to make it sound. A Betta bite wouldn't even break the skin on your finger. Most of these animals only bite if they feel threatened, so you need to have some patience and positive interaction with treats and toys for the pet to see that you're not going to hurt it.

Where did you get your information from? Ferrets are not illegal in the U.S. , any dog can be dangerous depending on how it's trained. Betta fish are great pets but you have to keep them alone. Ferrets are illegal but you can buy a Gila monster? Get real ! And why do they even sell tarantulas??

if you notice threw out the video the information (videos of examples are false) my betta fish would snuggle up to me when my hand was in the tank, and the hedge hogs are blind so they do not purposely attack you and its reakky rare and pitbulls will only attack if they think there family is in danger ive owned a good amount of these animals and honeslty they are only explaining the rare downsides to animals you have to bulid trust with each one this video is very wrong.

there are a lot of misinterpretations of animal behavior in this video. For example, several mdog situations presented as aggressive situations, when they were just play situations, which at first glance to a layman may appear as aggressiveness, but which is not, because in the game, there is no injury inflicted, unlike in a real situation of aggression ... this just demonstrates a total ignorance, on the part of the author of this video, in relation to the real "signals" of the behavior of certain animals...
