Well, I did it! I dont live near an ocean, but i just love it so much and watching you these last 2 years, im finally gonna do it anyway! And not just the bathroom. I already had that in lighthouses. I went to several DT in last 2 days and got lots of stuff to create! I see no more reason why I cant decorate with what brings me delight! So, my craft room/guest room will be it! I was just now fixin to go thru yr past videos but heres a new one again. Thanks Julie! This will be so much fun!.....M

To protect solar lights/make them last longer I often put things together "upside down". Jars with lids are perfect-- add a solar light upside down/surround with shells or whatever. Add the lid/turn upright. It makes a perfect "lantern" protected from dampness.

I have 2 say the little square bronze jar with the bronze solar light n palm tree is really adorable! Seriously great! Could sell them easily!

I LOVE the pier posts and solar light. I have been really wanting to make a scene like that to put in my small front garden. Now I don't have to find real wood. I also wanted a pelican or other sea bird to sit on one of the posts. At Weis grocery store they had both. So excited. Great job 🩵🩵🩵

I bought those shell drink cups last year because I thought they were so pretty. I made mine into a coastal vase. I couldn't think of anything else to do with it, so thanks for the cool idea.

You do not have to live on the coast to do coastal. My home is filled with coastal. It is just me, my heart and soul! My name means Palmtree, not surprised at all lol. I finally have an inground pool. By the time I'm done it will look like I live on the coast lol.

Awesome video. I love all of these solar lights. I have a suggestion for your pool noodle logs. On the 2 shorter logs, if you want to, you could glue some ocean birds or some bigger sea shells on the top of them. I have some 4x4 wood pieces that are made the same way, and they have ornaments glued on the tops of the 2 short ones and the solar light on the tallest ones. Just a thought. ❤ Great job.

Hi Julie - I don’t know if you’ve tried this before but Bargain Bethany puts clear acrylic gems or glass cabachons in bottoms of her solar light designs. You wouldn’t believe how much light they give off just reflecting light from the solar light.😄🤩. Keep on making your wonderful DIY’s. They are amazing!❤️❤️❤️❤️

A possible solution to sand spilling out of the open side terrarium light is to brush a glue medium on the bottom, sprinkle sand, let it dry then repeat until you get a good look. Nice lights, I will try some. But, I’ll have to use an adhesive that will allow changing the light when it dies. I don’t care to throw out stuff because it can’t be replaced or repaired. ❤

DT also often has in the kitchen area 3 or 4-packs of little glass bowls perfect for protecton and looks to top a solar light,

If you use marbles instead of the pebbles, it would weigh it down and reflect the light and make it brighter.

You can't beat the price of the solars at DT - and they're good! I usually protect them by topping them with glass/using them in lanterns, or at least putting clear nail polish on the solar panel. But no matter what you do with them, they're a great deal, and even just to use the battery as a replacement.

I live in Jacksonville FL and I think I was on the other end of your fight because I look the same way!!! I have never had allergy issues to this degree before, and I have lived here since I was 5 and I'm in my 40's now lol.

Try going out in a boat at the ocean or just go to the beach for your allergies. I had a friend who suffered when we were kids and her only relief was going to the ocean. Nancy

one the light house. you made take the mod podge food coloring to do red it would look more like a light house also you can take clear glue and food coloring ( cheaper than mod podge) makes a lighter color you can see through
