Let’s celebrate everything the Wii U got right with a look at the best Wii U games of all time.
The Wii U was an interesting failure with a lot of very good games in its corner. True, the console sold just over 13 million units worldwide, which makes it the worst-selling Nintendo home system to date. It’s also true that the infamous Wii U launch didn’t have much to offer in the way of top-tier releases. However, when we dig deeper, we find a system that over a period of 5 years became the home to at least a few dozen excellent titles.

Nice list. Windwaker HD and Twilight Princess HD would also be on the list for me. Deus Ex Human Revolution was very good too

100% agree. I've recently started playing WWHD, since WW is mt favourite zelda due to being the very first i've ever played. And everything is gorgeous and addicting, so yeah it should've made it to the list

That's a nice list. Personally I miss some underloved games like Zombi U, Splinter Cell and Deus Ex.
The fact that windwaker and even zombiu wasn't on this list but batman and monster hunter was is absolutely mind blowing

I have almost all these games in my Wii U collection.
For any wanting to play StarFox listen carefully, don't play the main story first. Go to training mode and spend about two hours learning the controls, because the motion controls are kinda complicated. There's a minus button that swap screens and you have the ability to turn the motion controls on or off in the pause menu. It's easier to shoot everyone in first person mode, where as all ranged mode is easier for avoiding enemies.
Omg the UFC and Russ Westbrook clips got me. I am now a subscriber.
I had the WiiU and several of these games. I regret nothing.

The Wii U is way better than the Virtual Boy, and in my opinion, the Nintendo 64. It may be a hot take, but I think the quality of games on Wii U is higher than that of the N64.

With the Wii-u at the time of its release you wouldn't find a processor as rubbish as that one it had if you bought any computer. The graphics chip wasn't much better. Nintendo just presumed that consumers would buy any old junk with the Wii name as long as it had a gimmick, and they got punished for it.

My friend worked in a game shop at the time. He said they constantly had people confused about what the Wii U even was. So many thought it was just a Wii add-on. They really missed with the branding too!
