Buzzsaw: New one hit single by artist Geese Howard.

"AOF2 is a loved game but not really a very good game on account of it's length, stiff controls and insane difficulty." True, so very, very true. I just finally managed to get through it again and it must have taken me about 40-50 tries to do it on one credit and get to Geese. I even find Mortal Kombat II easier to beat than this.

+AdmiralMcFish I was just looking at videos of AoF 2 and it looks like hacking has made some good progress since last time I checked. Before I saw this video I thought if you played as Geese, the game crashed after the first fight. I saw your KoF '94 Rugal video, before now I thought the game's background graphics would glitch up when playing as him. I really wish SNK had officially made him playable because it would have been a good reward for managing to beat the game, and perfect for getting revenge on the CPU with.

+Rage Quitter 87 Hacking is considerably better than it used to be, especially do to a Japanese hacker called Yumeji who's worked miracles with a ton of fighting games. Coming full circle however, it was actually the Neo Geo savestates in your website that got me interested in it in the first place. Luckily, most fighting games after 1995 can have their bosses hacked without too much trouble. SNK keeping with the Neo Geo screwed us over a little in that regard, as games like Samurai Shodown IV and V had to be considerably hacked for us to be able to play through as their bosses. I really think all boss characters in fighting games should be playable in one form or another, because you miss out on part of the experience when you're unable to do so. That's especially self-evident with Geese here, where he turns the game from a nightmare into something of a breeze. I actually found playing as bosses was a good stepping stone into understanding fighting games, because you can get to grip with the game more without being decimated by the AI every 2 seconds. plenty of things to say and only one video to say it in. 1: I believe that's Micky about as much as i believe Young Geese to be Temjin. 2: Shout-outs to Eiji for opening with a very good impression of Todoh from the first one's moves, all 1 of them. 3: Mr. Big gets about as much respect in these games as the US Sports Team does in KoF, what with Geese's thoughts on him accomplishing anything more or less being "Yeah... No."

Wait, is Player 2 Geese colors part of the hack? I thought it's just Noob Saibot black cuz he doesn't have player 2 color pallete.

It is, yes. Some hacks actually add colour palettes for unplayable characters.

@@AdmiralMcFish To be fair, "Shadow" actually looked cooler. (And fitting since Geese's impostor in Real Bout Fatal Fury was called Shadow).

I think the main reason why the playable young geese was somewhat hard to control is due to how they must of tried to stay true to how geese normally plays If he played like an easy character then he would be by far the most cheapest thing in the entire world in players hands

It's "Die Yabo", apparently, which means he mixes English and Japanese for some reason. Yabo is a Japanese term meaning awful, unrefined, etc, so as far as I can tell he's basically saying "Die, you worthless person". Which sounds like something Geese would say, certainly.

Hey, can you share the hack? I'm having trouble running it on winkawaks 1.60 , which is the only emulator that works with neogeo roms in my pc, and mame doesn't work for whatever reason...
