She didnt like selena n was jealous of her and i beleive her ultimate goal was to rid of her if it hadn't been march 31 it would have been another day she was determined n unfortunately successfully completed her goal. She ran 392feet to the lobby, so that made her pump her blood out faster 😔 they tried getting an IV in her on the ride to the hospital and there but her veins went flat and they had open her chest they did a lot to try to revive her but she was already gone 😔 Rest Easy La Reina Selena 👸🏽💜🙏🏽

Erika Ortiz That’s not true, by the time the paramedics arrived it was too late to do a blood transfusion. In an interview with her husband Chris he states that’s what happened and I’m sure he knows the truth. Also no one was with her when the incident happened, her parents wouldn’t have been there before the paramedics to tell them no.

If you read the case, you will know what I am talking about. Lesson for everyone: some one who is stealing from you. Do not interact with them. File a police report with evidence and terminate this person While you have security in the room. Don’t engage in their manipulation. Have them escorted out if need be. Now, if you read the case she was contacting Selena many times after Selena and her father confronted her about stealing. Selena and her family should have filed a police report of harassment and got a least a TRO (temporary, restraining, order) now I can tell Selena and her family didn’t want to believe this could be happening or there are ppl out there like that. But they do exist. Always trust your instincts. Be smart.

Not justifying Yolanda at all but I think prison is the best punishment especially since she's being kept in solitude with nothing at all. A quick and easy death for her shouldn't be allowed for her while Selena ran for her life in pain and layed on the floor of a lobby till her death and her last words from a beautiful singer and amazing lady were "Yolanda Room 158" no Yolanda deserves to be locked away till her death and she needs to go straight to hell. If they give her Parole in 2025 everyone is gonna be pissed.

Facts. I read the trial transcript and the paramedic that tried to help Selena declared under oath that Selana was clasping the ring in her hand and fell off when they picked her up. None of this bs that Selena begged her not to leave her. Selena was DONE with Yolanda.

I remember March 31, 1995 like it was yesterday. I was in the 8th grade and school had just let out. My friends and i were standing around laughing when we noticed people around us start to cry and thats when we were informed of Selena's passing. I couldn't hold back my tears and started crying. I couldn't even imagine a world without her, that's how much she meant to the Latin community, for young Hispanic females she was everything. I wanted it to be a huge April Fools Day joke unfortunately it was true. I remember people asking who could have hurt her and why. SMH I remember before we knew who it was so many people were saying it was Emilio Navaira's wife (He was another Tejano singer) or Shelly Lares (another Tejano singer) or someone else who was Jealous of Selena's beauty and how big she was becoming. It's so dumb now looking back but we couldn't figure out who would want to hurt her or why. But that evening as we sat in front of our TV's and watched the news and the stand off we started to get the truth of who and why. I remember wanting her to just kill her self and when she didn't it pissed me off and even more to see her fake ass cry! I am not the type of person who dislikes people thats just not me I am all about forgiveness, but I can not forgive this ugly ass little troll. I know without a doubt she killed Selena and that it was no accident. She didn't even like Selena until she saw how much the people loved her. She is a truly evil person who doesnt deserve to the air she breathes. Everyone can see through her lies the only person who couldn't was Selena and that was because she only saw the good in others.

It was premeditated. She even bought hallow tip bullets. According to the surgeons had Selena's gun shot wound been a millimeter higher or lower she would've lived. That breaks my heart the most.

Man, rewatching this video brings me back to the day it happened and my family were in corpus visiting relatives and hearing it on the news and we all just cried our eyes out

Me just hearing this I only have to say 1 thing. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE. I’m from California and I hadn’t known who Selena was the year I moved to New Mexico (8th grade) is when she was killed and it was crazy. People were crying and everyone was in mourning I’ve never seen anything like it. Wow I don’t know why I’m surprised maybe because many don’t think this way but yes first degree murder for sure death. I don’t really care if it’s more expensive or whatever other excuse people use. She’s the worst kind of criminal. I think she believed her story. I know someone like this who made up stories about his life until he started turning the stories into reality. He said one of the managers where we work which is a very professional environment was physical with him. He said I was going around saying he was having an affair with another person. He said people were stealing from him, he was hit and called a f%g ... then after some investigation he said he was joking. Then he flipped out crying screaming people are hurting him and he’s going to kill everyone. Mental illness is freakin scary.

From the crime scene photos I've seen, I tend to believe she ran behind the pool, and through the parking lot.Which would mean she ran to her right immediately after getting shot in the hotel room.There's photos of her purse & mobile phone laying on the ground in that direction.As I said previously, it's confusing because most of the docs make it seem as if she ran a beeline straight to the lobby.Which would mean she ran slightly to her left(11:30 clockwise) /through the grass field/picnic area in front of the pool..If she took that route, it would've been easier for Yolanda to chase her down, and get another shot off.Witnesses say they saw Yolanda chasing after her yelling "Bitch".They never really say which direction the pursuit took place, tho.I think Selena ran to her right, behind the pool, through the parking lot.She dropped her personal belongings in that direction.She was parked in that direction.And going behind the pool/cars in the lot was the best way to gain cover if Yolanda let off another shot.Makes me super ultra sad to even think about it.It's just something that always confused me.I've watched like 3-4 documentaries with homicide detectives who worked on the case.For some reason, they always depict her running in different directions.I mean. it's much ado about nothing now.What's done is done.RIP Selena

Not true. The bullet severed her subclavian artery. That’s just she bled out, a blood transfusion would not have mattered. The damage to that artery was unrepairable. The doctor actually opened her chest and was massaging her heart I believe trying to save her.

Unfortunately this isn’t true 🥺 Selena ran a good amount to get to the front of the hotel. This pumped her heart even more and she bled out. Her veins were collapsed when they tried to put an IV in her 😭
