SharePlays of anything other than rewards will only ever drive up store packs.

The only reason I sometimes watch shareplay content like icon picks is that I want to work out my odds of getting a player I'd be satisfied with. You're completely spot on that such content is gonna encourage many to want to go to the store to spend money on packs, but personally that's why I watch that. Love the honesty as well.

Great video king. Agreed that Nick is definitely about trying to help cause a change although he may have gone about it poorly off rip. The way some of the creators tried to attack other's characters for the attempted boycott is insane and made me lose respect for a lot of people. On a lighthearted note, we need some kind of Hashtag x RTFM content if both parties would be down to make it happen TBH. You (and the rest of the house tbf) and Nick are the most entertaining fifa creators personally by quite a large margin.

I never really thought about the shareplay content like that, ur 100% right to be honest W takes, but also doing RTGs and not doing store packs is so hard nowadays, playing weekend league against these insane teams makes this game almost impossible to get a good weekend league finish

Finally, one KZreadr who actually admits they enjoy playing the game. At one point I was losing interest in the game because I was able to build a super meta team with 0 fc points, 0 coin buying and not even buying fodder off the market. At that point I realized I am still getting the same rank in WL and not enjoying the game so I just ditched my whole team and made a Chelsea past and present with players I liked Irl. The fun factor sky rocketed while I still got the same old 11 wins in weekend league. You are absolutely spot on about playstyles and evolution. Playstyles made players like Lampard and Drogba useable and allows me to replicate their real style. Evolutions allowed me to use players like Jackson, Caicedo, Colwill useable and allowed me to have fun without sacrificing my rank. Ea is garbage company who only wants money but evolutions and playstyles made this the most fun fifa since fifa 19. Mad respect to you for spitting the truth Harry.

You're completely spot on about the shareplays, people doing highlights of the best pulls from the packs is definitely going to get people to spend money to get them, mental how people don't see it. This vid is why you've always been one of my favourite creators, always real and honest, keep it up lad.

Im against the "forced boycott" and Im also enjoying the game. But MAD RESPECT for that intro because you said it as it is. People simply used "boycott" to milk out content and then "back to business as usual"... Im glad youre enjoying the game cause i watch you for the gameplay and that is unaffected for you still

Bang on, been watching you since fifa 17 and couldnt wait for you to talk on this whole boycott. EA make $3000 per minute on packs and 1.5bn across a fut year and put it straight back in their pockets, i also quite like the game this year but the bugs and servers for a company that makes that much is unacceptable.

I used to play fifa about 10 years ago, then I just got back into it for FC24 because of some of my collegues. I played maybe 4 hours per day and it kept me coming back for the daily rewards, daily login and daily play, It would even make me feel bad and stressed if I would go away for a few days because I might miss completing some rewards. I paid maybe 400usd in the game, thinking that instead of sitting and grinding pack openings, player picks, daily gold upgrades etc which you could spend hours on each week, I would rather do an hour of extra work at the office and just pay for a pack from the store. When the things with messi happened and later league 1 with mbappe and dembele etc I thought that here I am spending money on the game when EA continues making mistakes where people are getting crazy rewards and me paying for essentially only getting fodder that can only be put into an SBC that will be outdated in a month anyway. This is when I decided to stop playing the game and now only play with my collegues having a fifa night in someones home. This was a good decision for me, even though I would like to play occasionally to get better at the game

People hate reaction content, but love watching share plays which is essentially 90% of the time watching someone open their pack and saying “yeah, that’s a good pick” or “damn, that’s not great” and they get 100k+ views and x amount of thousands. Honestly, 10-12 years ago content creation was three full time jobs in one, now they outsource all their back end stuff and literally just sit at their camera and complain about the same thing that pays them

i didn't even know there was a "boycott" but it's about time. i stopped paying for points some years ago and barely play these games now. and when i do play fut i do it when the tots cards are all out to grind offline and build a team like that.ended up with a bunch of great cards last year and didn't spend a single dollar on them. and i'm currently in the midst of building a great team this year too. i'd rather grind all the objectives and the squad battles and even take my gold team into weekend league than sit there throwing money at the store in the small chance to get something worthwhile

Personally I like watching share plays of icon packs. Don’t see any problems with that. The main issue is when content creators promoting showing spending FC points on packs. And then also share playing other people opening the store packs. That’s the main issue
