The Brother one looks great. I just like the fact it erases your mistakes and can be computerised to copy what you've typed.

I used to have a manual type writer, and then some time later an electronic one when I was a kid, just because I found them fun to use, lol.

Really nice of that Brother. I have a pretty basic Brother, and a Smith Corona word processor.

Ah, I work with old documents at work and often see typed pages from the 80s / 90s where it looks as if someone has used Tippex to precisely white-out a letter. It must be when an electric typrwriter with a correction ribbon was used!

Bit of an retro curiosity these, also brings to mind the Wang word processing system I had to look after back in the day - a pain indeed it was to keep running. Watch that back of yours, take it from me you really don't want to end up on constant pain relief like I have been for the last 16 years!

Yes, I trained on the big, manual industrial ones, had real trouble converting to these at a later date. Would love to get one of the big manual ones :o)

GREAT video! I really love that Brother AX 340; I didn't know that there were any type writers that had spelling correction.

Hello...love this. I inherited one of these and I'm lost lol. I can fiddle and work out a lot but I'm damned if I can work out how to set the margins. I know the thingy (technical term) can be moved manually to set the left hand margin but it will only type to half a page width and then says page end and will type no further. No matter where I set the left hand to begin. So can you tell me please please please how to make it type more than half a page? Thanks.

This is an incomplete demo It appears you just want to enjoy typing instead of illustrating what the keys actually do. How do you store what you typed. How do you auto print? I have a vintage Brother SX-14 typewriter which I acquired but I don't know how to store and print on this machine. Do you know anything about this particular typewriter?
