Thanks for this. I love these machines. I have several of them. I am glad to know about the multi-strike ribbon. Keep it up.

I type over 100wpm, have for decades. Bought one of these ultra-slow SC electronic machines but gave it away after I literally out-typed it. Fifteen pitch is a great size for so many things.

From what I can gather, you dont need to rewind the ribbon, but it is one continuous loop of ribbon that just keeps going. We're talking like 100 feet of ribbon coiled up inside the cassette.

I sure hope that’s the case. That would be excellent! Thanks for watching.

D Tab stands for Decimal Tab. I think in practice it works like the auto-center, except it centers on the decimal point where you specify.

I think the gear ratio of the multi-strike cartridge makes the ribbon move slower.

Aha! And here I thought there was some sort of digital recognition going on. Whenever I hit the end of it, I want to try to rewind it. I wonder if there’s a non-destructive way to open the case?

The paragraph symbol is a character. Changing print wheels on a IBM WHEELWRITER is much easier.

I just bought this same typewriter second hand and was wondering the best places to find additional printwheels? I love the micro font!

There are tons of them available on eBay. The Micro 15 is harder to find, but I got mine on eBay, too. Had to pay a little more for that one. Well worth it, though. Thanks for watching!

hello! Did you get to the end of the ribbon? Have you tried rewinding the ribbon? gretings!

Rewinding would be very difficult. I think you would have to crack open the case. It theoretically could work with the multi-strike ribbon, but not the correctable one.

It appears that you can't see what you typed - or is that only the case with the smaller typeface? Does your Corona not have a paper release lever or is your only option to crank the knob to get the paper out?

Hahaha! Well, that’s embarrassing. That’s the way I’ve always done it since I was a teenager. Never crossed my mind to just use the paper release. Wow. This changes everything. Thank you so much for watching!

Oh, and you’re correct. It is difficult to see what you’re typing. That seems like a poor design, but it didn’t stop them from cranking these out.

I’m not sure what you mean. The characters are on the daisy wheel. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

Where would you recommend a reader start with your books? The Harbinger series seems very popular on GoodReads. But what would you recommend?

@@typepals That's hard to say. If we're talking novels here, then I can make a few suggestions depending on what you like. If you like edgy police procedurals, then WOUNDS might be for you. If you prefer military action/adventure, the the books I did for Jeff Struecker are good. There's a series of them: CERTAIN JEOPARDY, BLAZE OF GLORY, FALLEN ANGEL, and HIDE AND SEEK. Some of my favorites are the Perry Sachs novels: A TREASURE DEEP, BENEATH THE ICE, submerged. You mentioned THE HARBINGERS. Those are a series of supernatural suspense novellas (100 pages or less) written by four authors that were later combined in to a full-sized book. I wrote five of those: THE GIRL, THE FOG, THE VILLAGE, AT SEA, and END GAME. Remember they are a series of 20 novellas grouped together. Or were you thinking nonfiction?
