I’ve been painting for 25 years but grew up more into Picasso, Klee, Miro, etc. but always loved tonal paintings and Corot is my favorite. Beautiful painting you’ve done, what colors are you using in your palate? Appreciate the video.

Hi Lantern, this was from awhile back so I'm not too sure what colors I used. Thank you for the lovely comment 😊😊

Great to watch your demos of Corot landscapes. Have noticed that after blocking in the initial darks, you appear to 'blot' them over before proceeding (in this demo at about 2'28"). Could you say why this process and what you are blotting them with? Many thanks

Hello. Thank you for your video. I really like the way you made the painting. I would like to know please. How long in take to you to do the entire painting process of the corot's landscape? Thank you.

Imagine how useful it would be to us viewers to be able to look at the original while you do your block in and proceed to the final stage. You say that Corot’s landscapes departed from a more formal, earlier style. You might just mention a few artist names so we know what you are talking about.

Hi Renzo. The original can be found on my blog just search for the title or the date of the youtube vid. Re art history, I know it, but in an organic painters way, certainly not well enough to teach it. Cheers
