Thank you for posting your process, showing an 'as it happens perspective', as a new artist who dabbles in trying to paint I am amazed at the generosity of people like yourself who show how they paint and then.... they 'put them selves out there' for all to see. Brilliant! So...I watch your videos over and over. I'm still having trouble putting down thick paint. How much of the textured board is actually coming through? I really love the look.👍 Thanx for sharing!

Hi Andrew, I experimented with painting thickly but find it's a struggle. I paint just thick enough to cover the board well, the resulting surface is a good combo of paint texture and the board texture. Keep at it, it's taken me years to get happy....

I love your tonalist painting style but I really wish you showed it normal time maybe just once in the beginning, once in the middle and once in the end. Its so interesting to follow the ways you use your brush and th really see how you work with the tones
