2-stroke retro: Secrets of a 1980 Mugen Honda ME480 twin shock
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
It's a bike that never actually existed back in the day - a 1980 twin-shock Mugen Honda ME480.
By using a 480cc motor from a single-shock 1983 Honda CR and shoehorning it into a twin-shock 1980 CR250 frame, then adding a full Mugen engine kit, the bike now lives!
Its owner Ben Braddock talks through the details of his bike, from its exotic hand-made parts to the bolt-on bits and more.

I love how they looked back then . Now, they all look the same, just different color.
I got the same bike sitting outside in my garage 😊😁 it's amazing like no other
Goto try a maico 490 , I was doing superman freestyle moves hanging on older mates shirts over jumps , good old days of twin shockers
What a machine,You lucky man 😉👍👍
Nice bike you got there 👍
Biutifull this is a very very original so good
Bad ass. I dig the triple clamps and the fork gaurds, mugen side cover. What kind of adjustability is on the forks and shocks ?
Also could you tell me where the fork protectors came from.
Cool bake.
Beautiful bike, well done on the rebuild. What forks are they? I didn't catch the name and would like to find out more. Are they 43mm?
That rear brake apparatus is a pain.
Those are not Fox Forx but late 90s Suzuki RM Kayaba's, better than Fox's.
