"stuff that you can make great archery bows out of" I know you mean it's bent to ****, but I just want to chime it to say that wood for bowmaking is very specialized and not just 'curvy wood'. Strength is more important than shape. Shape can be induced with how you dry it, or how you steam it, etc.. Strength though, you can't cook that into wood.

I watch most of your videos and find them most informative in the subject matter and attractive in the quality of the framing, lighting and the beautiful scenery. It dawned upon me today that I have been taking for granted how much effort the family puts into making these videos - coming up with a topic, doing all the camera work, capturing the audio all at that same time as doing the work at the mill. . . And after that work, sitting down, editing and cutting the videos, adding the run-ins and posting them to KZread. . while someone is ensuring that all the equipment is maintained and serviced ..ready to go . Great job. Thankyou for sharing and inspiring to appreciate the work that goes into getting a piece of timber onto my workbench!
