i'm with you. you feel like a hedgehog and have to trim it down all the time xD and for contrast i have long & thick hair on top so it can get pretty awkward unless i keep the sides tight!

+Diogo if you hair is fine like mine either grow it out slightly longer on the side (more of a classic cut) and ise good prestylers (just experiment to find a good one) or if it is thick try a shorter sides with a low clipper but you have to get cuts very consistently...alternative: learn to cut your own sides to maintain and go to barber as per a normal person would....try to get volume and thickening shampoo is your friend

Take biotin, shampoo twice a week max, use conditioner 3-4 times a week, don't be too rough with your hair, wear hats and helmets less etc. You can also get an oil scalp massage once a week if you want. After following this, not only will you stop a receding hairline, you might also grow it back slowly. I've stayed at a Norwood 1 my whole life with these tips, and it's definitely not due to genetics.

Pete and Pedro is INCREDIBLE! I got the paste and it works wonders! Towel dried hair, blow dried hair, whatever it may be it still holds great. This is coming from someone with thick curly hair too.

Thank you so much, Alpha! I picked up some t-gel yesterday just as like a "I'll try it out, see what happens." I have crazy dandruff.. well... had. Even just after one use, not only did the amount of flakes get exponentially lower (next to nonexistent), but my hair feels absolutely freaking amazing. Smells like a weird minty leather, but I actually kind of like it haha

I'm sadly one of those guys that puts the product on the tips. Not anymore, I will not!

I did watch your video about 5 years ago and that gave me courage to start cutting my own hair. I have been cutting my hair since then and now I can do it fast and I can cut few different styles. It looks nice and I have gotten complements about my hair, so it can't be that bad. Actually i think it's better than going to barber, because I can don't have to cut it too short to avoid going back to barber after few weeks. Nice to see that you are still doing videos.

lol im hispanic and all i do when i get a fade (usually i keep my bieber hair from fall to spring) like him is just use putty or gel and then hair dry it and it looks like his.

Stupid simple, to the point, effective. Other channels should take note of this, bravo

I use studio 4 putty or wax. Strong hold and easy to use. Not so strong that you cant play around a little with the hair after the product is dry. I apply it the same way he does but I spike my hair instead of parting it to the side. Only thing is I dont have a hair dryer so I dont do that. Works well for me. Takes 1-3 minutes. (3 is when I have a bad hair day.)

Here's a tutorial/guide idea that I'm desperate for: how to describe to your barber/hairstylist how you want your hair to look. I'm honestly fairly clueless about how "taking an inch off the top" would affect the way my hair looks, and I never know the proper terms to describe what I want (in the rare cases that I know for sure what look I'd want).

I have a hairstyle that fits me well and looks awesome with or without product but it's short and there's no problem with it being short but there is with the growth of my hair. I think I can shave my entire head clean and my hair would fully come back in 2/3 weeks maybe even less. My hair grows rediculously fast. And in order to keep my hair short I'd have to go to the barber every 4/5 days..

Schwarzkopf Taft V15 works like a train too, it has the best hold I've witnessed. Before this gel my hair used to come down after a minutes, this one keeps it in place for 24 hours. If you have the same problem I had, I highly recommend you checking it out.
