2 Photograhers - 1 Model & 5 Minutes to create!!! Featuring Katherine!
It's the 5 - Minute Photo Challenge...first one of 2024! In this video, I work with Katherine, our model, and Kevin Rounds or KevinRoundsPhotography on Instagram.
Both photographers get 5 minutes to work with Katherine and create as many good images as they can. This was tough as the location was quite busy in the second half of this session! Yet we made it work!

Nice video. The second photographer does a nice job of keeping the light on the model's face.
That light assistant is always on point which is every photographers dream to have one.
Love the 5 min challenge. The model was killing it.
Viewers you can never go wrong by watching this man video, he's so loaded with crafts in photography and he's a very respectful person with integrity. You can tell when someone has a good upbringing. Am proud if him anytime I watch his video. His video is full of details

A ton of practice! Thats the honest answer. Lots of shooting and knowing how to expose correctly quickly. It’s a great little challenge for sure!
Hey Jason curious to know if you use aperture priority mode on your camera for this outdoors shooting?

Good question. I shoot in Manual all the time. I just prefer to have full control over allowing the camera to do some things.
Gorgeous model but you could point that lens at a wall and be blown away. 85 1.2 is just butter

Where did you get the wheels for your C-stand?

They aren’t mine. I’m not sure. You can search caster wheels for c stand on Amazon.
Which is better: a 55-70cm beauty dish or a 95cm octobox? Is there a big difference? In my city there is often strong wind and the octobox I think will create a lot of windage

So the bigger the light source the better the light. But with wind and if your soloing your shoots. Go with what works for yiu

@thephotosandvideos1773 I typically use a 42. The one in this video was a 32 or 36 I believe. It wasn’t mine. It was Kevin’s.

The power really doesn’t matter as it’ll be different for you depending on so many variables.
its funny how mosly all of the shots were full body non of them were eye level or close up.
