I kinda supprised, that a lot of rider passed you, when the dude sitting there, than laying on his back. And a lot of guys just pass, than dont stop. I think you did the right thing man, that you helped him, and stoped for him first, and dont leave him, to search your buddy.

Crazy stuff. Glad your friend Ray is O.K. Your video showed him flipping over his handle bars. Usually those are nasty wrecks as the bikes end up running over the operators. Ouch. Thanks for stopping for that other dude. You guys worked your butts off getting his bike back up on the road. Sucks he got hurt. As an over the road truck driver I seen many wrecks on bikes, cars, & trucks where people waited in pain for many hours waiting for help to get there. Most of the time nobody else even knew they were wrecked. When the Dragon swishes his tail everybody better hang on. It's going to be a hell of a ride.

@@r1learner178 Wow, found four years later. That sounds scary. I’m surprised there was still something left of him. Theoretically this cannot happen to me, because I have the “Intelligent emergency call” system in my Beamer. It’s a tiny device on the right-hand side of the handlebar. As soon as my bike drops, this system will automatically initiate a call to the BMW Call Center, provided a mobile-phone network can be reached. The person at the call center will then ask me whether I need help. If there is no reply from me, they will contact the emergency services to launch a SAR procedure. This “Intelligent emergency call” system only costs 350 Euros and is valid forever, i.e. never any other payments are required. That’s peanuts for such an important service. Unfortunately it wouldn’t work on the TOTD, because there is no mobile-phone network available.
